I'm so glad this is the last season of Lost

most tv sucks these days, but there are some shining examples of good writing, acting, camera work, etc... we call those Deadwood and Arrested Development. Family Guy sucks ass, though...

One of my friends is pretty much losing his mind over it. This is one of those shows that I don't care to get involved with at this point. I'd like TV to be a leisurely activity, not fucking homework.

In fairness, I did try to watch an episode. It's incomprehensible if you didn't watch from the beginning, and it appears to be not so much plot as a series of curveballs. Sort of like how CSI isn't really written a standard mystery show, but as a half-ass mystery you can't figure out the end of because they didn't give you the necessary facts. I was unimpressed.
