The 2007 album "The Essential Waylon Jennings" has 42 tracks. When Willie Nelson was 42 years old, he released the album Red Headed Stranger. When Kris Kristofferson was 42, he was in the film Convoy. Johnny Cash's "My Old Kentucky Home (Turpentine and Dandelion Wine)" made it to #42 on the Country charts in 1975. But the winner would probably be Kris Kristofferson for his role in Big Top Pee-Wee.
