..James Bond.
Casino Royale.
Kicked ass.
That "Free Running stuntwork" in the beginning action sequence was fucking awesome.
I'm going again.
P.S. Now that Sony owns MGM maybe they can bring back SPECTRE without all the legal hassle?

Is that irony? Because this one fucking rocked. Martin Cambell should direct all the James Bond movies.

I would rather sit through multiple viewings of Ishtar than to watch a Bond movie.

My father is a James Bond fan. He told me he hasn't really liked many of the recent Bond movies, but said Casino Royale was really good. I'm still waiting for it to come on HBO.

Bond is pretty cool, but I much preferred their older stuff, when they were more "classical" and less "techno-pop drivel."
Shouldn't this be under "Music"?

Zing!
This one is really back to basics. There's hi-tech stuff in it, but nothing unrealistic. Well, maybe the jump paddles in his glove box, to kick start his heart. But mostly it's just him killing people, banging chicks, and playing cards.
But even if you aren't a fan, you HAVE to check out the foot chase in the first part of the film. It'll go down as one of the classics, not just of Bond, but of action movies in general. The stuntwork is UNREAL because it's all REAL.

It probably went back to basics since it was a remake of an older Bond film.

Allow me to correct you. Casino Royale was the first JB book published, but the movie rights were never included in UA/MGM's initial grab up. So when whoever had the rights got around to making Casino Royale, they realized they could never compete with the Sean Connery "serious" franchise, so they made a spoof. After all these years and buyouts of different studios by one another, the rights to Casino Royale eventually would up at the same studio that has the rights to the movies and they made it the "right" way. But all of 007's movies are pretty much the same, him bedding chicks, drinking martinis, playing cards and blowing shit up. Oh, and saving the world.

Awesome. So does this mean you'll see Quantum of Solace in 2010?

If I'm lucky. Might be 2011 since I'm 18-24 months behind the rest of the world on movies.
