Yeah, but I wasn’t sure if it was fake outrage or like ‘oh nooooo…you’ve seen our art(whaddyathink??)’ winkwink.

It’s cool all these TV shows from the last six years are paying off.

First two episodes of Daredevil:Born Again dropped this week on D+. A shocking death to start off the new series.
And then a lot of Mayor Fisk and Lawyer Murdock stuff for the rest of the two episodes. DD doesn’t even appear in episode 2.
It’s cool seeing Hector Ayala in live action, but given the story arc they’re adapting, I’m not super excited to see it play out.

It’s weird to think the original Netflix series came out in 2015. Daredevil has been around for ten years already?

I instantly assumed they're taking a page from Brubaker/Lark and what they did in their first issue (Vol 2, issue 82), when Foggy is stabbed and "killed" while Matt was in prison.
Even more now that i just read that Ksren and Foggy so be back in season 2

Saw BNW. Third best Cap movie, but, like DB said, Winter Soldier and Civil War are a HIGH bar. I quite liked it.

It was nice to finally get a payoff for the Leader, and Tim Blake Nelson is always fun to watch. Giancarlo Esposito is probably the best damned villain actor alive. Anthony Mackie is just damned likeable. Hell, I'll just say this was a frigging great cast.

My wife and son were teasing me during the credits about getting excited over adamantium finally showing up in the MCU. I told them if they wanted to see me really lose my shit, they should hope for a post-credits scene of a hairy naked guy with tubes inserted all over his body, floating in a vat in a lab, with a crazy high-tech helmet. They didn't get it. I have a family of heathens. The actual post-credits stinger was a bit of a letdown, but did give me some hope that, if Leader knows what's going down, maybe he'll find a way to be involved and this won't be the last time we see him. I'd fucking give up my entire comic and toy collection, then blow all the goats in town, if Leader were to encounter Thor and say, "We thought you was a toad!"

Bringing up the Multiverse reminds me: if Doom is now the big villain at the end of the Multiverse Saga, and Doom is linked in ways to the Fantastic Four that they shouldn't try to fucking pull a Venom and separate, and the FF movie is in another universe... is this Doom the one from the FF movie (who they haven't confirmed, but, c'mon, you know Victor's in it)? And is it possible that Thunderbolts* may be the final straw that opens the gates? (I mean, doesn't Void have potentially reality fucking power levels?)

I thought about Doom in the new FF movie.
Maybe he's on the ship when the accident occurs but disappears and its tossed into the multiverse, while the FF get their powers. And the equation we see Reed working on in the trailer is Reed trying to find and save Doom.

I don’t want to recklessly speculate on upcoming plot points because we will invariably be let down when our ideas are cooler than what shows up onscreen.

That said, I think Chris Evans is coming back to play a Wild West sheriff version of Cap in Secret Wars ala the 1872 Secret Wars miniseries.

I do not think that was Frank that showed up in the final seconds of DD episode 3.
He’s being framed. And when he finds out, he’s gonna be pissed.

No a chance it was him.
And based on the comics history, he's gonna be pissed when he finds out dirty cops are using his logo.

The GIGANTIC cast reveal for Doomsday yesterday.

I’m worried all the original X-Men characters coming back are just back as cannon fodder so they can show us how much of a threat Doom is.

Watching this week’s Daredevil episode and I realized the dirty cop that assaulted White Tiger in episode 2 and then joined Mayor Fisk’s task force for the past few episodes is named Powell. Do you think that’s an obscure easter egg/set up for Darkhawk down the road or just a coincidence?

I would kick all the puppies to see a live action Darkhawk. Really. I'll sell every damned material item I have and prostitute myself to have enough money to acquire every fucking puppy in the world, then punt each and every last one of them.

I was listening to a podcast and they called the show Law & Order: MCU.
I had a good laugh.

I’m debating on playing hooky from work tomorrow to go see Thunderbolts. And yesterday I had an epiphany.

What if every single trailer has been a red herring? Every time Red Guardian has been saying the name of the team he’s been yelling “Thunderbolts!” and everybody is like “Stop saying that. You can’t call us that.”
What if he’s really yelling “Avengers!” and that’s why every one is shooting the name down and that’s what the asterisk in the title is for.

Well, I was wrong with that theory. But I also kinda wasn’t.

The only thing I didn’t like was the obvious shocking twist death to show that nobody is safe, even though everyone and their brother predicted said shocking death from watching the trailers, and said impact was minimal and less than shocking. The only real shock was that they bothered to bring that actor back for like sixty seconds of screen time, two second where you could actually see their face on screen, and exactly one line of dialogue.

The rest of the movie was fun with lots of bickering and sniping amongst the team members.

There are two end credit stingers(three if you count the curveball of the final scene in the movie, which was also easily predicted). One is a humorous mid-credit sequence with Red Guardian and Wheaties.
The post credit sequence sets up/teases the FF movie in two months.

Oooooh, they replaced Taskmaster with Drax.
