I'm seeing a lot of this one Iron Man with removable armor. No War Machines, though.

I'm officially adding a couple more SW figures to my list. It's now:

1) TRU Exclusive Crimson Guard Commander set
2) Shadow Stormtrooper
3) Utapau Shadow Trooper
4) Cover Ops Trooper
5) The Force Unleashed Black Emperor's Guard (no clue offhand what the proper name is)
6) The Force Unleashed Evo Stormtrooper

I saw the Jumptrooper today. It looks more Star Wars-ish than all the Clonetroopers combined. They had the Vader, too. As much as I was bashing on this figure last year, I had no idea it would suck as much ass as it does. It could teach Snigtad about ass-sucking. Oddly, the other two army builders weren't there. I didn't care about the Black Guard until I realized how bitching he'll look without the cape.

There are a few more Joes I want, but they just started shipping, so I'm not worried yet. I think the SW figures will all be drying up pretty shortly.

buildable? what? you have to build astromech droids now?

Kinda like the Marvel Legends BAF figures. Thing is, each figure comes with one different piece. There are two droids per case of twelve figures. Not that bad, except that re-released figures later in the year will come with pieces for different droids than what was released the first time! Figure that Yarna and Vader will be much more popular than, say, Sandstorm Chewbacca, and it gets messy. Even messier when you consider they've never answered the question of whether the later pieces will only be with the reissued figures or not. It'd suck if that Vader winds up in another case with all new figures, but you'd have to buy him again.

Me, I'm not worrying about the droid parts. It's a bit much. I am hoping to build one or two Frankenstein droids, though.

Thanks for posting those pics. I'll be looking for Yarna, Bane Malor, the Ewok, Ak Rev, and the Rebel Pilot pack. Hasn't that black R4 already been released?

Not with that number. It looks just like the R4-19 as far as I can tell.

The Vader, by the way, will probably be worth picking up as well. It's the first with the two-part removable helmet folks have asked for for over ten years.

I refuse to buy another Vader.

The R4 I was thinking of was part of that TRU Imperial Battlepack during the Saga era. I think he had some orange detail stripes as well as the silver.

Also, I'm not too worried, since it's another Snake Eyes, but I need the Ninja Snake Eyes that just came out. For some reason, he wasn't in the batch of figures that went on sale on hasbrotoyshop today. This is the one with silver details and the two big-ass trench knives on his torso.
