I've seen 'em at Walgreens. I imagine TRU would have them as well.

Funko and Super 7 just released photos for their new ReAction retro figure lines - i.e., 5 POA and '70s/'80s styling. There are several franchises listed in this thread getting figures, with several more unpictured lines coming this year, including Rocketeer, Firefly, Back to the Future, and Pulp Fiction. Seems like a cool way to get lower-priced toys made from older properties, and I'll probably get the Nightmare Before Christmas line.

I saw this a little while ago.

I'm not gonna lie - I saw the Firefly figures listed (at $9.99 each!) and I got a little hard.

I kinda want a Stan Lee figure, preferably Marvel Legends style.

They've done a couple Comic Con exclusive Stan Lee figures, but fuck exclusives.
If I was able to be a Stephen Hawking figure on the shelves, then I should be able to get one of Stan.

They could cheat and make him Willie Lumpkin. I'd be down with that.

I noticed there's a "Kirby Bat" figure in the new TMNT (cartoon) line. Apparently, it's April's father, Kirby, who's turned into a mutant bat. Knowing that Eastman and Laird both have massive Jack Kirby boners (ever read the Donatello one-shot from years ago?), I have no doubt where the name originated. Making this, as far as I know, the first Jack Kirby homage action figure.

It'd be cooler if the design were more Kirby-esque, but, eh.

I'd like lines of good, high-quality figures based on a lot of classic movies from a variety of genres:

Shaft (Roundtree, not Jackson, though it wouldn't hurt to get an update of him since it's the same universe)
The Dark Crystal
The Neverending Story
The Princess Bride
The Naked Gun!
Young Frankenstein
UHF
Pee Wee's Big Adventure
Beetlejuice
Ernest P. Worrell (a line that mixes and matches from the various movies and the show, since there's a lot of shit mixed in there)

Also some television:

Firefly
Seinfeld
Alf (show sucked, but Alf still looks bitchin')
Beetlejuice
Ducktales
Pee Wee's Playhouse

None of this super-deformed, retro-style, whatever. Real figures that kick ass and rank among the best of today's figures.

And definitely none of the "one kickass figure, but he has no friends" bullshit, either. And definitely not the Palisades/Toy Biz bullshit where they say they're going to make every character possible, then leave a lot of important ones for later, and the line dies long before they get to those. (Why the fuck did we never get Guy Incognito as a figure, but there were multiple variants of Burns and Moe?)

McFarlane made a Sam Jackson Shaft Action figure* back in the day.

*or those plastic statues that McFarlane passed off as action figures.

Yeah, but he could use an update (with articulation). I don't believe there's ever been a Richard Roundtree Shaft figure, though.

On a related note, how about the characters from the Sabotage video?
