Finally watched this with the family on Thanksgiving - we all liked it! Oddly enough, my only gripe was the language - words like "ass" and "piss" don't really need to be in a movie that doesn't also feature "shit" - and they didn't want to go that far here. Opinion only.

I really liked the way they handled Galactus - way more "movie viable" than a honkin' big dude in a weird purple helmet.

I didn't like Jessica Alba's hair though. It looked way faker than Galactus. Her skin tone was way too tan to make her look alright that blonde.

Fox has hired Mark Millar to be a consultant on their future X-Men and Fantastic Four films.

God. Dear God. Why. Oh why. Dear God. Why.

I guess this means we'll be seeing the Thing murdering Reed in the next film right before he and Johnny pull a ménage on Sue. Stupid atheist baby killer!!!

For those of you who were worried the FF Reboot might suck, fear not. Fox has hired the screenwriter of last year's shittiest film, Abe Lincoln: Vampire Hunter to polish the FF screenplay.

Really honestly didn't need to be rebooted. It was totally fine as a "more family friendly, adventure oriented" series, to contrast the more badass xmen stuff.

That guy must have the greatest agent ever.

The FF movies were such a mixed bag. A lot of it was crap, but there was a lot of good in there.

Scuttlebutt says they're thinking about casting Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm. Now, I'm a huge fan and I, too, wanted to Be Like Mike. But he's like 50 years old. Johnny Storm is supposed to be a teenager.

And Space Jam sucked.

Hah, but seriously, I think it's cool they're considering a black actor. They can make the whole damn FF black if they want. That'd piss off the fanboys. I say go for it.

As long as Sue is black, too. I don't mind race-swapping, if there's no set reason someone has to be a certain ethnicity (though a white Luke Cage would be a different story). MCD was the best possible Kingpin ever, sorry Gimli.

Ehrrmegherrd! Then Reed and Sue would be *GASP* an interracial couple!! Franklin would be a mulatto!

MMURRICA WOULD NOT STAN FER IT!

Just saying, if they're brother and sister, and one's very black and the other's very, say, Asian, that would just be weird unless you say one's adopted.

Adopted is the best reason if they cast a white Sue. Its just that easy, but the nerds will still have their underoos in a bunch, just like a few asshats were with the guy in Thor.

B..but..in the first two movies, Johnny was white and Sue was Latina and nobody raised a stink about whether they were adopted or not.

Also, an Asian Sue Storm sounds HAWT. Reed was stationed in Korea originally. I wouldn't be surprised if he got a taste for it.

Jessica Alba can "pass" for white, though. They didn't look like it was impossible to be brother and sister.

Jaesus, the fucking uproar caused by the FF casting announcement, you'd think they'd cast Hitler as Reed Richards, Stalin as Johnny Storm, and Pol Pot as the Thing.

Is the entire country secretly just a bunch of closet racist assholes?
By the Dubs, if you start a sentence with "I'm not racist, but..." then guess what?
