My GF went on a buying spree on Amazon this week because of some free shipping promotion or something.
She bought Blu-Rays Joker, Birds of Prey, and Once Upon a Time In Hollywood for me, and 2-pack of the two new Jumanji movies on BluRay as well.
And a DVD of The Prestige, as I had lent my copy to my ex a couple years ago and it somehow become her copy from what my children have told me.

The complete Batman Animated bluray is on Amazon for $60. I think it's time to splurge as I've been picking it up & putting it down at Walmart which wants $90 for the same set.

I've had it in my list forever. I need to pull the trigger sooner rather than later.
Apparently, the digital copy is standard definition, which has really pissed of the A/V nerds, if you read the Amazon reviews.

I always consume my digital copy, but rarely use it. I only seem to watch digital on google play in bed or on disneyplus - and only for stuff I don't have a disc for anyhow.

I tend to use my digital copies out of laziness.
Somedays it feels like a lot of effort to get the disc, go to the PS4, or the disc in, turn in the controller, load the disc, and hit play.
I'm lazy.

Tons of people sell the disc & only use the code... or vice versa. I've never considered it honestly.

No way.
I'm in the "You never really own it when you have it digitally" camp.

yeah, i actively seek out the physical media version of a movie that comes with the free copy, and always redeem it. but i am loath to buy digital only. the only titles i have on digital without physical media are either the freebies (they were giving out on DisneyMoviesAnywhere when you connected your various vendor accounts, or one year Elf was just free on Google Play, for instance), or gifts we've received from other people who didn't want the digital copy.

I would pull the trigger on that Batman:TAS box set, but I’m pretty sure I already have the original seasons DVD sets somewhere and I have to be completely honest with myself, As much as I love the show, I don’t know when I would ever carve out time to rewatch the entire series again.
Also, that’s one sentence and I apologize.

One of the very few remaining Video Stores in town is closing down. All their movies were for sale.
I got Amazing Spider-Man 1 and 2 on Blu-Ray, the first Hobbit movie on Blu-Ray and Hot Rod on DVD.

The other remaining store in town followed suit a couple weeks ago. Family Video.
I got Tenet on blu-ray and
Venom and New Mutants on DVD.
New Mutants was awful. Imagine a pilot for a TV series on the CW that the network decided NOT to pick up to go to full series.
