It could've been so much more though.

WarnerBros needs a Feige and they don’t have one.

The villain looked like Mangog from Kingdom Come & I couldn't figure out why they wouldn't just use that name.... but in googling it you see Thor fighting Mangog a fair bit through the ages. I wonder if Marvel gained exclusive use of the name for comic purposes.

The boxes were too much like the rings. The alien army was too much like.... the alien army..... but there heroes weren't bad. Even Ben's cardboard acting wasn't terrible for emotionally dead inside Bruce & there was some ok inter-character stuff. And Gal Gadot.

I’d watch two hours of her just walking around in that white dress. Good GAWD!!
The hokiness of the lasso on the Lightning bolts aside, there was some great action in there.
Not sure about Wiig as Cheetah, but The Mando playing Maxwell Lord is bang on.

“That’s just a trash can” is already a meme.

They appears to be taking such care with Wonderwoman - what in the actual fuck happened to the rest? :**(

Aquaman and Shazam were good. Hell, even Cavill AS Superman is good.
I’m excited for James Gunn’s Suicide Squad. Not so much for Bird of Prey.

I think Snyder and his “vision” were what was bringing the franchise down. Now that they’ve jettisoned him they are doing better. It’s too bad they are thinking about soft rebooting everything because Justice League underperformed. With the right director they could keep going with the mythology they’ve already got in place.
It wouldn’t be too drastic to replace Affleck as Batman because Batman is bigger than the actor playing him(ASM I’m not talking about Pattinson which is a “prequel” film/franchise). In fact, they might be better served not getting an A-lister to play Batman.

Looks ok. I'm worried they'll lean too heavily on the 80s aspect, like Captain Marvel did with the 90s.

Still haven't seen Aquabro, but Shazam was great.

Birds of Prey looks like shit. Margot Robbie is crazy hot, but her Harley sucks.

The Suicide Squad is already better than the first one.

Hopefully The Batman is good, but all the villains they're cranking in has me worried.

Ironic that The Flash is so slow to get made. Theres a great Flash on tv anyway.

We just need a proper Superman film, similar to the way he was portrayed at the end of Justice League.

Watched Birds of Prey today.
Better than I thought it would be. Not great, but entertaining for a couple hours.
I’m still annoyed they got Cassandra Cain so wrong.
Like why even call that character Cass?

Another day, another Superman reboot. The trailer dropped today, and it looks pretty good.

I was today years old when I discovered (the hard way) that not all of Generation X doesn't like Krypto. ("Hate" is definitely too strong. He's a level of silliness that just goes to far for me. And embodies the frigging Super Zoo of the 1950s.)

I like Krypto. Or rather, I like that DC embraces the goofiness that Superman has a dog with Superman’s powers and the rest of the DC Universe just accepts it.

And I like that James Gunn decided that was the kind of cinematic universe he was gonna build this time around.
Fuck the Snyderverse. Superman and Batman don’t kill.

So, I have the tiniest of quibbles with the new trailer. When the guy chucks the brick at Superman and it hits him in the head, he reacts. I know it’s physics and the impact is gonna make his head move…but it shouldn’t. Superman wouldn’t register a brick hitting him. It’d be like if someone tossed a dandelion or a tootsie roll wrapper at me.

Minor quibble.

Anybody see Superman yet?

There were things I loved, things I liked, and things I didn’t.

I was the only one in the theater who did, but I laughed loudly when the Boravian president said Hawkgirl wouldn't kill him. That bitch makes Frank Castle look like an amateur.

It definitely set a tone for the new DC that looks promising. Fillion is Guy Gardner. I'm really looking forward to Lanterns.

See it today. Thought it was great.

Does live action Lex Luthor do anything besides some form of evil real estate plans?
