That was my guess. South Africa has enjoyed a more stable government and economy than most of sub-Saharan Africa, even considering that whole apartheid assholery. I'm not sure, but think it'd be the only country that could have a city like that (plus a mix of black and white citizens).

I'm already seeing a lot of people saying it was either just okay, not as good as the first, or bad. The chief complaints seem to be Ultron lacking motivation and Vision being unnecessary. (But, oddly, nothing about Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver in that regard.)

I must conclude there were two different movies released on Friday and I saw the one that kicked all the ass.

Ultron's motivation is extremely clear. If it's not, he's obviously insane, so don't worry if it seems like there are issues with it. Vision? Fuck you. Vision is always fucking awesome (unless Millar wrote him at some point and he became a pedophile or some shit because fuck Millar). I actually suspect Ultron was chosen as the villain in order to introduce Vision, not the other way around.

And people have actually complained about the post-credit scenes (which, granted, there wasn't one here) and say they're unnecessary and only set up the next movie. Well, um, dipshit, have you ever opened a comic? Because the vast majority have a final page (or even just final panel) scene just like that, which only serve to set up the next comic.

As I said in another forum, anybody dissing on the movie needs their ten year old self to time travel to the future and kick them in the shins.

Time has a rather unhelpful chart on their site showing how all the upcoming movies and shows are connected leading into Infinity War. Some of the info is just wrong. But the best is the entirety of the description of Dr. Strange: "Fans speculate that one of the Infinity Stones will come from Dr. Strange's world."

Um....

Having now seen both Avengers Deuce and X-Men DoFP, I have a theory about the terms that Fox and Disney came up with.
Fox gets Quicksilver and Disney gets Wanda. Except Disney needed Pietro in order to tell Wanda's origin, so Fox okayed it on the condition he's never actually called Quicksilver in the film and he has to die because they only get a one time usage.
