watched the first episode earlier. i'd agree it's dark, but it doesn't stray from the original comic, so i'm not surprised. definitely impressed with the lead, i only know her as an annoying college chick from Gilmore Girls, so i didn't know what to expect.

I only knew her from Veronica Mars and Don't Trust the B.
I honestly wasn't sure if she could pull it off, but the show is quite good.

I'm halfway thru episode 8. It's just a creepy mindfuck of a series. David Tennant is stealing the series just like D'onofrio did.

Watched the next 8 episodes today.
Obly 3 left and damn, I want to finish this, but the eyelids are getting heavy.
The cast is all around great. I had my doubts about Kristen Ritter, but she's killin' it. David Tennant is a great villain.
Much like Daredevil, this is basically a 13 hour movie.

A few good Easter eggs in here and the introduction to a character I didn't expect. I looked the character up to see if it was anyone in particular and it is someone I'm aware of, but didn't know their comic backstory.

I realized who it was about halfway thru the series. I kinda kicked myself that I didn't see it sooner, but they changed his first name from Frank. Once the doc gave him the red, white, and blue pills it clicked.
