Spider-Man 4 is dead; Reboot to follow.

movies are cool. here is a place to talk about how cool they are. or maybe how much they suck, sometimes. like that fucking piece of shit 'mac and me'. worst fucking movie ever, a two-hour ad for fucking coca-cola.

I'd say this, SM2, and Spider-Verse are a trinity of perfection.
i haven't seen SM:ItSV yet, but heard it's incredible. i would definitely put this in the top tier of spidey movies. honestly i think homecoming and this knock everything else i've seen down a notch. tobey was a great peter, but merely a passable spidey. garfield was a good spidey but a mess as peter. tom holland is the best of both worlds.
Tom Foolery wrote:Apart from the excellent train fight sequence, SM2 has always been slightly above average for me.
unfortunately, that scene - while great - is also disappointing to me. there is no elevated train like that in midtown, you have to go above 125th in manhattan, or anywhere in queens, or to the outskirts of brooklyn and the bronx to see elevated tracks like that. playing fast and loose with the environment is fine for fictional places like gotham, or metropolis, or baltimore, but NYC is such a part of the spidey story, that it's an issue. the only thing that makes up for it is the car full of passengers who help him when he passes out.

Its been out almost 2 weeks, so I'm not spoiler tagging Spider-Man.

Mysterio's reveal of Peter as Spidey - So, Beck is on the ground dying, and Spidey was right next to him, right? Peter watched him die - so when the fuck did he film Peter's identity reveal?

i'd imagine he recorded the dialog ahead of time and instructed his peter-billingsley-in-the-chair to splice together something in the event of his demise.

Finally saw it. It was a "solo" for me - too soon on the heels of avengers to really hit home just yet. I'll enjoy it more next time.

Now that Far From Home is officially Sony’s highest grossing film EVER, they’ve decided now is the perfect time to toss their super lucrative Disney deal in the dumpster and set it on fire because clearly what fans want is a Spider-Man who ISN’T in the MCU...

I am perplexed.

Apparently negotiations may still be going on, so all hope isn't lost yet.
And with so many different rumored reasons for this right now (all financial), I'm curious what the real reason is.

I hope they can iron this shit out. My FB feed is full of people who say it's not that bad, because they don't like the direction of Spider-Man in the MCU, but all of them can kindly fuck the fuck off with their dumbfuckery. He's not entirely comic-accurate. Big fucking deal.

Losing Spidey right after he's set up to replace Tony, and on the heels of that cliffhanger--fuck no. Fuck Sony in their molded vaginas.

God. Literal. Fucking. Damn.

I did not expect to see both Otto and evidence of Norman in the new trailer.

Saw Venom 2 tonight. It was a diverting fun couple of hours. Or 90 minutes. Short film.

I am amazed the internet has shown as much restraint as it did with the stinger at the end. I yelled “Holy fucking shit!!” because I hadn’t been spoiled for it.

We also saw a trailer for Lamb. And after it was done playing, some guy in the back row yelled “I’m way too fucking high for that shit right now” and everybody in the auditorium lost it.

Venom 1 was better than I was expecting (I was expecting pretty terrible), but I'm not motivated to see part 2 in the theatre. I'll google the stinger though...

EDITED: cool.

Soooo….there’s gotta be a twist they aren’t showing us. Or several. I refuse to believe that collectively, Sony, Disney, and Marvel all brainstormed and were like “yeah, the Sinister Five oughtta be enough for fans. Ock, Goblin, Lizard, Sandman, and Electro. Let’s stop there…”
There’s no fucking way.

Secondly, much like the Endgame trailers, I feel like everything we are seeing is in like the first 30-45 minutes of the movie. I’m thinking the second and third act are so nerdgasmic they aren’t showing ANYTHING.

Plus, Lizard gets punched by an invisible (deleted) person.

Hmm, who could be throwing a hard punch while hurtling through the air?
