Sounds awesome. Here's to hoping for vicent donofrios kingpin making an appearance, but it will more likely be Osborn to maintain the degree of separation between the movies and TV.

Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse is good.
Not the best Spidey movie yet, but it may have one of the best post-credit events ever, which may have been the funniest part of the whole movie.

I’m waiting until my boy comes down for the holidays to go see it.

It's a strong second, maybe third for me. But I hold Homecoming and especially Spider-Man 2 in extremely high regard.
But it's incredible. I do think I was the only person who cheered the reveal of the guy in the post-credits scene (before it got all slapstick and even more fucking awesome).
They cast some major star power for that role, too. I've got a feeling he'll be reprising it in the sequel....

Just bought my tickets for tonight, imax 2d, at 12:01 AM. Super excited.
Haven’t gone to a midnite opening release in a lonnnnngg time.
I think the IMDb cast page might’ve spoiled one of the post-credit stinger scenes for me. But if it’s true, it’s a welcome one. He’s the only person who can play that role.

I caught part of Spiderman 3 on TV recently. Not only am I glad I didn't see it the first time around, I'm glad that it was rebooted.

Spidey3 and Batman&Robin flip flop for me for shittiest comic book movie ever.
Occasionally I watch one or the other just to refuel my rage.

Too. Fucking. Right.
Loved the subtle spoof of the longtime speculation that Nick Fury would be replaced by a Skrull.
Spoiler-free review: There's this, Spider-Man 2, and Intl the Spider-Verse. And then there's a bunch of movies that aren't as good. Keep in mind I loved Homecoming.

goddam, FFH was awesome. we all basically knew that Beck wasn't going to be on the up-and-up, but the payoff was well executed. the first fight/illusion against spidey was incredible.
i love the fact that both mid-credits scenes now end with a sharp cut as someone is saying "what the f" and i hope that they continue this trend.
i half expected RDJ to be the voice of the AI on the glasses. just looked it up on IMDB and apparently EDITH is voiced by
Dawn Michelle King, who was an assistant editor on a lot of MCU movies, which is cool. it made me realize they didn't really play with the 'suit lady' a lot in this one, which is okay.

Loved FFH also.
I was just wondering what happened to Karen, Spidey's suit A.I..
It made me sad that this was the first time there wasn't a Stan Lee cameo. If there was ever a need for a digital replacement/drop-in character, Stan is it, even if he's just walking by in the background.

Am I fucking crazy in that I think this is a Top 3 SM movie? A lot of people seem to think it's pretty okay, or just for kids with no taste.
I'd say this, SM2, and Spider-Verse are a trinity of perfection.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I don't think Spider-Man 2 has aged well. There is definitely some great stuff in there, but other stuff feels hammy.

Apart from the excellent train fight sequence, SM2 has always been slightly above average for me.
