Queen

uh, y'know, the sounds that sound good together... sometimes... and sometimes sounds like the disgusting "squish squish" sound Slicker's mom makes whenever she walks

Stupid question in case anyone knows:

Most of the b-sides were released on the 1991 remastered CDs. However, "A Human Body" from 1980 was not. Anyone aware if this was released on any compilation or something else that's on CD? (It's a kick-ass "The Game"-era Roger track.)

Same question for "Soul Brother." It's by Brian May, I've never heard it, but my guess is it'd be a blues/r&b number.

I've already got "Lost Opportunity" taken care of, and it's one of my all-time favorite Queen tracks. Brian kicks the shizzy.

It's not a bad song, but it's not my favorite, either. I'm rather partial to "39" and "Brighton Rock" myself.

The new album with Paul Rodgers is actually quite good. Most critics have panned it simply because Brian and Roger had the gall to tour and release the CD under the name Queen, and I agree there's something to that complaint. But they must realize Paul Rodgers is the most boring frontman in rock history, so about half (or slightly more) of the vocals are handled by the two members of Queen, both of whom are way underrated as singers. There's also a few new songs by the two of them, and a great slowed-down arrangement of "Hammer to Fall."

I like it a lot more than I'd expected.

yeah, you MUST hear Brighton Rock Rosie, it is a KILLER through and through, it is one of the more "metal" songs the band did back in the day, really fast and wild

The super-long live version is the best. It becomes a ten-minute metal guitar solo. I have a bootleg version of it from 1975 where he incorporates the instrumental from "Three Blind Mice."
