Football

most tv sucks these days, but there are some shining examples of good writing, acting, camera work, etc... we call those Deadwood and Arrested Development. Family Guy sucks ass, though...

What an absolute clinic the Lions put on tonight. On both sides of the ball. Two offensive drives longer than 95 yards, one lasting almost 11 minutes. 7 sacks. Strip and fumble recovery on King Henry.

Looking at their entire schedule, this was the one I thought would be their most difficult/losable. Not even that worried about KC. Commanders and Eagles will also be tough, but if we stay healthy, I’m feeling good about the season.

Well, well, well. 1/4th of the way thru the season and look who has accumulated the most points after four games. Detroit with 137. And the Bills right behind them with 133.

Fuck the Steelers for making me root for Aaron Rodgers in their win against the Vikings. And fuck the Cowboys for making me root for them last night. A tie is better than nothing I suppose. The Las VegasRaiders Max Crosby almost made the weekend perfect. Goddamn, can we trade for him before the deadline?

Please stay healthy. Please please please.

The Lions had it so well in hand today, Fox decided we didn’t need to see the 4th Quarter and switched over to the Commanders/Chargers game.

Sorry the Bills lost. ‘Twas a good game.
The real shocker this week was the Broncos taking down the Eagles.

I wasn't surprised that the Bills lost. It seems like everything was going to be too easy for them because so many of their opponents have losing records.

Last week on my fantasy team, I started the Colts' QB, who threw a pass to a WR, who fumbled the ball out of the endzone because he was celebrating the TD before he crossed the line. This week, I started the Cardinals' RB, who fumbled the ball out of the endzone because he was celebrating the TD before he crossed the line. What are the chances?

These guys refused to call a single penalty on KC in last nights win over the Lions. Everything from taunting to holding to being offsides to illegal blocks in the back are apparently permitted when you hand the refs big bags of Mahomes money.

The NFL literally lets Kelce do anything he wants because he’s Mrs. Taylor Swift and they want all them Swifties to be NFL fans.
