Loni Anderson, 79 (would have been 80 tomorrow). She died rom "an acute prolonged illness." I'm starting to find it weird that there are always follow up articles "revealing" the cause of death for celebrities who are over 70.

Who? You know that motherfuckingly bitching long-ass piano outro to "Layla"? That's who.

Davey Johnson, 82. Won the World Series twice as a player, but probably more famous for being the manager of the '85 Mets.

Mark Volman, 78, "brief unexplained illness." Founding member of the Turtles, half of a duo dubbed "The Phlorescent Leech and Eddie" (later just Flo & Eddie) by Frank Zappa and who were best known for background vocals on songs by Zappa and T Rex. (The chorus on "Bang a Gong (Get It On)"? That's this dude.)
