Daredevil (the MCU/Netflix topic)

most tv sucks these days, but there are some shining examples of good writing, acting, camera work, etc... we call those Deadwood and Arrested Development. Family Guy sucks ass, though...

I haven't looked at them since dd season 2 dragged the way it did. I was interested in the Punisher but now it's been too long & I have no motivation to watch any of it. :(

DD season 2 was 50/50 - great with The Punisher and crap with Elektra.
I loved both seasons The Punisher.
I realized the other day that I don't think I watched season 3 of Jessica Jones.

I'm still behind on the CW stuff (Flash/Arrow/Supergirl) and Supernatural.

I was losing interest in Jessica Jones halfway thru season 2. JJ season 3 came out after they had torpedoed the entire Netflix-verse, so my enthusiasm was at rock bottom at that point. But if I parse these out one or two episodes at a time, i think i might appreciate them more. I was setting aside like 8-10 hours on my days off and trying to cram in half seasons of Legends of Tomorrow and the like and started thinking ‘this shouldn’t be a chore for me’ instead of being amped i was seeing obscure heroes in live action for the first time.

Jessica Jones on paper is near the top of my list, but it just never translated for me. I watched up until Luke was smashing her headboard against the wall & that was about it.

Finished DD 3. It was a satisfying adaptation of the Born Again saga where Kingpin tries to ruin Matt’s life. Bullseye was pretty badass. Joanna Whaley as Sister Maggie. Good stuff. Wouldve watched season 4.

Just started Punisher season 2. Loved the cold open of episode 1.

I just read...um, somewhere, I forget... that Charlie Cox, besides the Spider-Man rumors, will be in Secret Invasion with Samuel L Jackson.
