The Slave Leia one (as well as Vader, Yoda, etc.) has been out for a few years now. None of them are as creepy as those skintight body stocking ones that are debuting this year (for humans) . . . shit's fucked up.
Shit. I can't think of a good signature.

Clone Wars is canceled, but a new cartoon in the same style, set in the period between III and IV, is scheduled.
Frankly, I'm a bit surprised that no one is griping that this is the period supposed to be covered by the live action show that will materialize sometime after George Lucas finally tells us all what the fuck a Whill is. (In other words, sometime after the tenth season of the Firefly airs.)

They haven't said anything about the style, though Filoni's comments indicate it will be CG.anarky wrote:Clone Wars is canceled, but a new cartoon in the same style, set in the period between III and IV, is scheduled.

The live-action show was always going to be about the criminal underworld, according to everything Rick McCallum said about it, and sounded like it was going to be darker and grittier. The fact that this one is called Rebels (as well as the press release) leads me to believe that this will be more about the surface conflict, with various pockets of rebels forming and eventually forming an alliance, the seed of which was actually planted last season on The Clone Wars. And Simon Kinberg is writing the pilot, so I doubt that they'll reuse the existing scripts anyway. So in the unlikely event that they do end up producing the live-action series as it was planned pre-Disney, it will likely be very different from this show.
Also, one of the remaining Clone Wars arcs centers around Yoda and supposedly has something to do with Force ghosts, so I wonder if anything about the Whills will be involved.
Shit. I can't think of a good signature.

Season Ten was so awesome! Mal was on the prison world. Jayne finally tracked down The Cardinal and killed him. Wash and Zoe's little girl saved everybody! Kaylee got married. And the season finale where River led the Reavers against the Alliance base on Ophelia and started a new war!! Mind blowing!!!anarky wrote: (In other words, sometime after the tenth season of the Firefly airs.)

The traveling salesman character that Vince Offer played was annoying as hell, though. The way he charmed Niska into totally dropping his blood feud against the entire crew, just by giving him a deal on a SlapChop, was not believable at all. And I was pissed when Kaylee married him instead of Simon. Luckily he died the next episode when they discovered there really were aliens... and they were giant man-eating ducks. (And then Kaylee married Simon after all in Season 12!)

We must be from different Earths. Simon died in Season 6's finale. He sacrificed himself to save Kaylee. It was very sad. That's what set River down the path to being the Reaver Queen.

I was talking about the other Simon, Tornassi. I know he was a clear fill-in, but how'd you forget him? He was around until he just didn't return for Season 14 for some reason.

Yup. Definitely different Earths. Season 11 only just started here a couple months ago.

Damn, Rollo, we went to second grade together before you joined the army. How could you forget that?
I figured it out, though. You're a traditionalist; you don't count Bruce Timm's Firefly: The Animated Series as actual seasons of the show proper.

I do not count those. Well, I count them as a separate awesome show.

Watched and paid attention to ANH for the first time in quite a while. I noticed 2 things I don't recall seeing before. First, during the award ceremony, there are rebel pilots there, wearing helmets with the visors down. It looked funny. The other thing I noticed was Leia's ta-tas bouncing around pretty good after she, Luke, and Han exit the hanger after the Death Star was destroyed.

I ain't saying the metal bikini isn't hot, but sometimes I think the simple white gown with those boobies just floating around free is even hotter in its own way.
Of course, now they're going to make Star Wars VII, and I'll finally have to merge the "adorably hot Princess Leia Carrie Fisher" with "old crone Carrie Fisher" in my mind. That's why it's sort of a good thing that Marilyn Monroe died young, she'll always be smokin'.

Speaking of Leia's tas, there's a moment after they all climb out of the trash compactor where she turns and you can alllmosssst see her jubbles down her loose hanging sleeve. It's almost dumb luck you DON'T see the braless wonder twins.
"No Tom Foolery today, Ron. I'm tired of looking at your dreadful, speckled mug."
