GhostRider

movies are cool. here is a place to talk about how cool they are. or maybe how much they suck, sometimes. like that fucking piece of shit 'mac and me'. worst fucking movie ever, a two-hour ad for fucking coca-cola.

GhostRider

Post by jdr3 »

Anybody else see the teaser trailer for Ghostrider? I thought it was bad when Nic Cage was slated for Superman a while back, but Ghostrider, really?

Plus the flaming skull just looks...i don't know....bad.

Maybe I am the only one who thinks it, but I think therefor it is

Most sites have taken the trailer down but I found several shots from it.

Guess your shots are taken down too. Nic Cage is an ass and should die.

The skull looks alright in that pic. I have no - NO - affinity for this character whatsoever, so I couldn't care less about this movie.

Nic Cage is a fucktard.
The only good thing will be watching his head burn.
It's just too bad it'll be digital.

For a rich guy, he had some shitty comics. If you go search "Hulk" at mycomicshop.com , you'll find a few issues from the "Nicholas Cage Collection" they're non key, and not in very good shape.

Here's the direct link that I found for the teaser. It's a quicktime.

Thanks, jdr3. It looks pretty cool, I just can't ever get past Cage's voice.

eh, it looks alright, but it's probably early on in post-prod, so it will probably look better. i generally like luke cage (who actually DID take his screen name from power man - sweet christmas, indeed) but the "i'm ghost rider" line is making all the "i'm _______" lines REALLY old... it's like in "the rocketeer" when he say's "i'm the rocketeer" and jennifer connolly goes "the rocke-who?"

It's by the guy who did Simon Birch and Daredevil. Daredevil = mediocre 80s movie pretending to be a 90s movie based on an awesome superhero. Simon Birch = the worst fucking adaptation of any book to screen ever.

My hopes for this are low. I might even watch Fantastic Four before I see this turd.

Every comic movie is worth the few precious moments onscreen where the character ROCKS. The Hulk movie was boring and too conceptual, but hot damn I got a kick out of watching ol' green genes toss tanks around the desert.

The same will go for Ghostie tearing up some stretch of highway and whuppin ass hellfire style. The plot can blow me. They hardly ever get it all right.

You're right. And in FF, the Invisible Woman rocked when she took her clothes off on the bridge and looked sexy in her panties and bra.
