I think the first five minutes surpasses the body count of every movie I can think of except for Star Wars, Return of the Jedi, Independence Day, Titan AE, The Transformers: The Movie, and a couple others I know I'm not remembering, all of which (except ID4) involve at least one planet (or planet-sized battle station) being destroyed.

Well, I meant with 2 actual characters. Don't remember anyone getting killed in the original cartoon, but I don't think I saw the end of the series. They probably came up with the B.A.T.s up just so someone could get whacked.

Holy fucking goddamned shit on a fucking cunt platter, I did not see that coming. I half expected something like that, but not so early in the series. (The other half expected the opposite outcome.) Fuck me, that was a shocker.

Definitely endgame for Cobra in this world. Only two are left (and I've got a feeling CC will be offed, though I wonder if Firefly will even show up again). I wouldn't mind seeing a "prequel" series. Despite some misgivings I've read, I think it could still be pretty exciting. We see so few Joes and Cobras active here, who knows how many more there were and where their current whereabouts are. An episode where Flash, Sneak Peek, Footloose, Tripwire, Torpedo and Airtight go on a mission against Croc Master, Dr Mindbender, Tomax, and Xamot could end very badly, for instance. All we know is, by the Resolute movie, we have a small number of active Joes (at least on duty), and that Cobra has emerged from seeming total defeat after what seems like a couple of years, at least.

I've recorded it, but I haven't seen the end yet. I"ve only seen up to the part where Scarlett and Duke escape from the explosion. It seems like this should be the end of the series. Was there something I missed or is there some sort of prequel planned?

Scarlett looks like a grown up and heavily armed version of The Little Mermaid.
