Cheap DVD buys

movies are cool. here is a place to talk about how cool they are. or maybe how much they suck, sometimes. like that fucking piece of shit 'mac and me'. worst fucking movie ever, a two-hour ad for fucking coca-cola.

Big Lots has a bunch of DVD 2 packs for $6 (and 2 for $10 this week)
Lots of 'em are a good/decent flick with one bad one.

And then was the crap-fest 2 pack of Animal House and Blues Brothers.

I almost picked up 12 Monkeys and The Thing - I've wanted to see both for quite a while.

I saw those 2-packs also. There were a couple with random versions of American Pie. They also had The Big Lebowski with something else. Since when does Big Lots carry used DVDs? We bought Stardust for $6.

I have a new/sealed copy of Casino Royale (2 disc) that I'm looking to sell. For cheaper than $13 too.

We went to Kmart today for our quarterly reminder on why we don't go to KMart. They have Voltron Episodes 60-72 DVD for $10.

They also have basic SW figures for $5.

Finally got to Target today and made a slightly larger purchase along the same lines as you, UK. I shat a brick when I saw the Seinfeld prices in the ad this week (they're even cheaper than any Black Friday deal!), since I'd only gotten the first two sets. Now, I'm only missing Season 6 (Volume 5), since that one wasn't in stock for some strange reason.

If you want, I can see if my Target still has Season 6/Volume 5 in stock - if so, I can mail it to you. Just let me know... I can go by there tomorrow afternoon.

Appreciate the offer, but I'm going to visit my in-laws tomorrow morning, and will pass about five Targets on the way. It not being a rare toy, I'm not too worried.

Found Clerks II 2-Disc Special Edition in the $5 bin at Walmart. Also picked up The Fifth Element (even though it isn't the fancy-pants edition).
