i love this game... i'll go a while not playing it, then i play it non-stop for a while, then not again.

i enjoy cataclysm, some of the ships are really cool. there are less of them, but i always found that there were too many ships to choose from and too much unit capping to build all those ships in the first one.

i'm in a "playing again" kick, right now, so yeah... i love this game!

yeah, so i've been on the same board for a long time now... the bridge of sighs, the one with the sphere formation of about a hundred fifty (estimated...) ion cannon frigates...

i've salvaged 70 of them!!! i have 70 icf's... it's awesome. now i'm just going around picking off what's left of them...

oh, i'm way past that, now... i beat the game a while ago... i'm onto the HOMEWORLD 2 demo!!!!!! it's awesome!!! holy crap, the cap ships are so huge!

yes.

so, the demo worked so well, i had to buy the damn game... i wanted to play the demo out til x-mas, so i wouldn't have to buy it, but... oh, well...

the game rocks so hard core, it's like a ninja that turned into a CD and i put it into my computer and it chops off people's heads!!!

Homeworld 1/2 are very good games, hell I even have the homeworld Beta CD's from back in the day that I got to try out.

Both were great games, man I used to sit in my room back when I lived at my dad's house and put the AC on full blast smoke a joint with my bro and then zone out playing homeworld. Damn that was a blast, freezing my nuts off from the cold of space and being high while the mothership launched my ships of doom.

homeworld 2 I have yet to play through, maybe I'll give it another shot.

oddly enough, me too. i got through HW and to the last board of HW:C, but never got very far into HW:2. i think it was because it was SO dependent on using the strategy guide (which kind of takes all the fun out of a STRATEGY game...) and i wanted to make it on my own steam as far as possible. but then i ran out of steam.
