City of Villains/City of Heroes
Anyone else play these? I'm taking advantage of the 1 week trial Marvel Comics provided me with right now, and it's pretty fun (I'm on City of Villains specifically). I'm not sure if I'm actually online with other gamers though, as I seem to be the only one going through the earlier, easy missions.

I've been playing this for almost week so far, and the amount of buttsex you have to endure to power up your character is overwhelming! It's just disturbing, eh? The tenth time I went up to the Dungeon Master and wanted to upgrade my healing factor, and he said, "Bend over, Reason-Man," and then the controller started shaking, I decided I'd had just aboot enough of this, eh?

As popular as this game allegedly is, I don't know anyone that has played it. It looks like a cool concept. I read a review of it somewhere and it mentioned a game called Freedom Force. It is a turn-based superhero game. There are some pre-made heros, or you can create your own. I never really got into it.

That was the nice part about the free trial - I got to experiment to see if it was something I wanted to dump a bunch of money on or not.
I also got into writing the character bios a little bit - that was nearly as much fun as the running around and fighting (which I found a little boring, to be honest). I think the real allure here is when you finally get into the cooperative play, but I never got that far with it.
