Cap, how did you get yours to connect? I had to disconnect my PC (external) modem, then hook it up through the Network adaptor. When I tried the auto-configure, it wouldn't connect to the DNAS server for some reason. Any ideas? Did you have to do anything odd to get it to work?

For what it's worth - I'm up and running. If anyone else is using this - let me know, I'd love to get some hockey going!!!!

Shit, sorry jj. I was out of town for the weekend or I'd have helped you out.[beard]
I think Diabolical keeps up on the new hockey games, so he'd be the one to talk to about that. If desperation sets in, I'd be more than happy to run to Family Video, though.[:D]

Actually, I haven't picked up an NHL game this year.
I was going to a couple of weeks ago, but after the Wings blew it, I got pissed and it slipped my mind.

What else are you guys playing on there? The MGS death matches are fucking hilarious - I was even doing pretty well (in my mind) for a first timer - killing about 3 for every time I got done.
Does the headset work with Navy Seals - are you actually talking to your homies, or just bossing your character around?
How do you find someone specific on there to play against/with?
Oh - and about the Red Wings - that's the angriest I have ever been at a sports team. I disowned them for about 2 days, but then realized that I can't root for anyone else, and don't want to stop watching hockey. Fucking dependent bitch I am. [frus]

The ones I do have I don't play, because: they are outdated NHL games, they suck (Battlefront), I couldn't get into them (SOCOM 2), or they weren't very sucessful games - meaning nobody plays them online (Outlaw Golf 2). The NHL games tended to suck online anyway - people that cheated and used the same fucking trick over and over.

As for how to find someone in particular - I forget how. FF can answer that one.

I've heard of dirty bastards doing that in hockey - my friend plays 2006 on X-Box live all the time, he turns it off and starts over when dicks are doing that shit. We need to get on there and play amongst ourselves - that way no god damned 400lb 12 year old is going to kick our asses.
I'll take care of kicking the ass. [ bats ]

It's not a continuous buzz of communication since you have to "key" the mic, which on the one hand is nice because there isn't a continuous stream of nonsensical babble coming in, but on the other hand I've been in games with little kids and shit who just hold down the button to be useless little cocksuckers.

But unless you know their screen name it's useless. One you find who you want or meet someone you like you can add them to your friends list, which shows their online status.
Do you have SOCOM 2 or 3? I'll get on them shits with ya sometime!

That sounds easy enough. I don't have SOCOM (rather, I don't have parts 2 or 3, I do have the oldest one) yet, but will go out and get a cheap copy of whichever one I can find. I do still have the headset, in near-mint condition, because I never used it to play the game after Jodi took a picture of me wearing it. Belittling bitch.

Dear me, the aroma of heterosexuality is certainly quite pungent to the point of being outright intoxicating in this discussion. My compliments, good sir.
