Anyone familiar with Chicago?
One of my favorite bands, Letters to Cleo, are back together and I got tickets for the Chicago show on November 4th.
I'd like to stay for the weekend and do some touristy bullshit.
I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive hotel. Everything I find online is at least $250+ a night, and those are all in the downtown area.
Anyone have any tips for hotel websites (or hotels in Chicago in general)? It doesn't have to be right downtown - I don't mind driving a little bit and paying for parking to save money.
It's been 10 years since I've been there and I'm not at all familiar with the entire Chicago area.

You can get much cheaper hotels out in the sticks amd take the train downtown for pretty cheap. The intra-suburb train system around Chicago is actually pretty good.

I started to give food recommendations, then realized everything I was listing was chock full of gluten, and felt like an asshole.

Call it off & visit Gary, Indiana instead.
