I would suggest you rent it, just to see how fucking atrociously horrible it actually is, but 1. You'd find me after and kick me in the nuts. And 2. I'm not that much of an asshole.
It's not even cheesy bad like Plan 9 or the movie pudding just showed above. It's just shitty and depressing bad. It's like MonsterBall and Boys Don't Cry fucked a phonebook, and their depressing boring movie baby was Gummo.

I looked up Gummo, as I'd never heard of it before. No matter how bad the movie might be, this line from the Wikipedia page is just fucking epic:
Werner Herzog praised the film and spoke of being especially moved by the bacon taped to the wall during the bathtub scene.

Watched The Room tonight. It's every bit as epically bad as you've been led to believe. I couldn't stop laughing.

I know it's always easy to say "there are movies WAAAYYYY worse than that", but I'm going to suggest X3, just because of my expectations vs what I got. Sam Raimi Spider-Man 3 had a similar gap. Fucking terrible.

I think the first 30 minutes or so of X3 is good. The rest is kind of a mess.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine is far worse in every way.

I heard of that movie and even an interview with a couple people that made it. It is supposed to be so bad, they made a documentary about it.

There's been docs about it. It's become a cult film ala Rocky Horror and there are regular screenings some places. The audience throws footballs around the auditorium.
One of the actors wrote a book about it, and James Franco optioned the book and turned it into a movie. It comes out sometime this year. It's called the Disaster Artist.
