NEW YORK – AC/DC is putting the metal in the upcoming "Iron Man 2" film.

The band announced Tuesday they will release the official soundtrack, "AC/DC: Iron Man 2" on April 19. The first video from the album, "Shoot To Thrill," was released on Tuesday.
The CD won't contain new music, but 15 classic songs, including "Let There Be Rock," "Thunderstruck," and the recent "War Machine."
The film opens in the United States on May 7.
This marks the second time the band, who disdain "greatest hits" albums because they prefer the integrity of full studio albums like Back in Black, High Voltage, or [snicker] Black Ice, have released a thinly-veiled greatest hits album disguised as a movie soundtrack. Really, guys. Get a fucking clue. Fly on the Wall sells less than Who Made Who: Music from Maximum Overdrive because everyone would rather buy "You Shook Me All Night Long" yet again to get "Sink the Pink" than pay the same cost as the rest of that pile of shit you had the gall to call an album. That's the real reason you don't allow downloads, isn't it? You're smart enough to know that every fan would only buy one song (at most) from each album you've released since 1980 rather than pay full price for the entire mess.

I would buy all of The Razor's Edge and much of Ballbreaker.
