we've got a few custom bbcodes in the system already, the spoiler code which covers all text in a purple box and the strikethrough code, but the newest addition is something that should've been added as soon as the 'youtube gems' thread started, but i didn't think about it. you can now embed youtube videos directly into your post. you'll just need to copy and paste the string of characters after ?v={string} in between the and [/youtube ] brackets. so on this video (which is the opening credits for quantum of solace, already embedded in the 007 thread topic in 'music'):

the bbcode should simply be

'her' part. 'she' pasted the entire url in between the tags. you just need the 'video number', the parameter after '?v=' in the url.

You don't need to see it. I made the mistake of looking it up.
