starting a new topic. cuz it's my site. and it's an awesome game.

i've got a gold trophy on all but the lightning cup on the 50cc level (all done today) unlocked king boo and the medium squid cart (can't remember what they called it)

king boo is one of my favorite characters. his off-roader is the balls.

post your kart codes so we can rumble. rogue deuce and i are already mariokart fwiends.

So far, I unlocked Funky Kong and a few others. What is he from?

Donkey Kong Country, IIRC.

I think I read somewhere that Cranky Kong (also unlockable in MKWii?) is the Donkey Kong from the original game, which makes the character currently called Donkey Kong actually Donkey Kong Junior. Which is apparently supposed to explain why Donkey Kong is a hero now. Never mind that this would mean we first saw him trying to free his father from imprisonment... by Mario!

I think this would also make Diddy Kong technically be Donkey Kong III. And not the shitty game with the bugspray.

maybe i got it wrong? when i entered yours it said you needed to add me then we could interact. i haven't been home, so i haven't had the game on to check.

What's interesting is the pronunciation of Waluigi. In Mario Party 8 (which, being from Nintendo, I'll assume is right), he says "Wa-LOO-jee." In Mario and Sonic at the Olympics (by Sega), he says, "Wa-loo-WEE-jee."

so where is everybody in this game in terms of unlockables? like i've said, i'm only through the 50cc circuit with gold on all but the last cup.

I've got the gold in all the 50cc and 100cc circuits. The 150 is much tougher, as they start to play really dirty. I've not got any of the "get a 1-star or better rating in all circuits" unlockables yet. I could probably get them on the 50cc by now, though.

i checked this morning and that's the code i entered for you, and that's the code it says for my copy - make sure you got yours or mine right, may be a typo somewhere... or perhaps you need to connect and like, accept my friendship or something? i dunno...

As far as unlocking goes, I've finished the 50cc circuit. I've unlocked Birdo, Funky Kong, King Boo, & Rosalina. I also have toe Super Blooper and the Piranha Prowler cars.

I pretty much breezed through 50cc and 100cc. 150cc is severely pissing me off. The other racers play really dirty, and the AI tends to cheat a bit. I'm having a hard time coming in 5th or 6th in races I take with ease in 50cc or 100cc.

Finally passed my test and got me a license:
