Supposedly AWESOME movies you'll admit to having never seen!

We all know about Rocketboy's Blues Brothers "issue", and from what I understand, a little someone else who's name rhymes with shmanarky has never seen Scarface.

Both of them have been taking it [s]in the ass[/s] on the chin a little as a result. So what haven't YOU seen? I'm hoping this thread will shame all of us into seeing some great movies we've been putting off seeing.

I'll go first:

The Big Lebowski. Yep, never seen it. Never cared to. Heard lots though, so I guess it's about time.

The Harry Potter movies. However, after the grilled steak pictures, I might go rent the latest one :heybaby:

Haven't seen Harry Potter, The Big Lebowski, or The Bourne Series either. I'm not even sure I've seen Scarface or the Godfather movies. If I did see them, it's been so long that I've completely forgotten.

The one I really need to see is Reservoir Dogs. It is sometimes in the $5 bin at Walmart, but never when I'm in a $pending mood.

Hmmph. Philistines.

I'm ashamed to know all of you.

(if there is a movie that I'm supposed to have seen, but haven't, I don't know what it is)

I'm with Rollo.

How some of you managed to stumble into marriages and con women into taking your seed is shameful and astonishing.

I haven't seen Harry Potters 2 thru 8 but that's because I saw the first one and thought it sucked. So those don't count for me.

Not yet. There are 5, which represent the first 5 books total. They are apparently considering making the last 2 books into 3 movies, which of course would lead to 8 total.... but that won't be until those pubes are ready to turn gray!!!

Ditto, That was the first one that popped into my head when I sae the title of this thread.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Blade Runner, Fargo, Alien series, and Citizen Kane are a few others that come to mind.

Lebowski is my all time favorite movie. A lot of people aren't familiar with it, though. Their loss.

I've seen Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas but I hate that movie, whereas others adore it. So different strokes, I guess.

Of the ones already listed, I've not seen:
Lebowski
the Bourne Series
The Godfather Part II
Reservoir Dogs
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (though I did see about five minutes and wasn't impressed)
Fargo

A lot more, too. I know I need to see them, though. There are, despite my comments to the contrary aside, very few movies I would refuse to watch, given the opportunity.

I've never seen a Bond movie. Never seen MASH, The Ten Commandments, Kill Bill, or Enter the Dragon, either.

I have Godfather II, Enter the Dragon, Fargo, and both Kill Bills, so I plan to rectify those ASAP. Scarface was on OnDemand, but I didn't have time to watch a 3-hour movie, and I'm not sure it's still on.

You been to a Labowski fest yet? Me, Bumcake and KillerPromQueen went last October, we had SO much fun. Bumcake has a Lebowski tat of Walter on her smooth, white thigh :heybaby:

Diabolical, I am aghast that you have not seen at least Alien and Aliens. Woop, you are in for a good treat if you see them!

But don't watch Alien 3. Honestly, man, I'd watch Blues Brothers 2000 first. And that is one fucking mediocre sequel. Not horrible, but trying too hard in every way imaginable. (Awesome soundtrack, though.)

the grand lebowski is totally worth the rent.
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas,
don't bother.
Blade Runner
i have to see the original version. i've only seen the director's cut and i enjoyed it, though i have a feeling the more pulp-y cut with the voice-over would be right up my alley.
Fargo
finally netflixed this one and we're making our way through it. not that it's a painful experience, we just got it on a busy week.
Alien series
yeah, stick to 'alien' and 'aliens' and you'll be happy. we won't bar you from checking out 'aliens cubed' and 'alien: resurrection' but they're not great.
and Citizen Kane
that's one on my list. others include godfather trilogy (seen bits'n'pieces, but never the entirety of any) and scarface. can't think of any more right now (i'm trying to remember all the movies my brother has chastised me for - he's a film snob...)

oh! shawshank redemption. that's one he's chided me over for years.
