I don't want to bring this up on that other site, because it can't go under No Spoilers, and I'm never going to read it again if it's under Spoilers. So consider this the "ROTS: Lo-Cal Spoilers" thread.

I don't know how much Lucas is sitting on with the huge giveaways he throws into the trailers.

We see Aayla Secura and Ki-Adi Mundi get gunned down by Clonestormtroopers. (I hope, this supposedly being a PG-13 movie, that somehow Aayla's top will come off before she dies and we'll get to see some green Twi'lek boobies. [^])

We see Anakin cutting Nute in half!!

Most importantly, in a blink-and-miss it moment, there's a shot of a huge wave of lava sweeping over a catwalk. I didn't catch it until someone pointed it out to me, but <b>someone is definitely standing where that wave is going!</b> I'm not 100% sure, but I think that the trailer is showing us the single most important shot of the film, just so briefly that most people don't even realize it!

I'm pretty jazzed too - though I didn't see ANY of those snippits you mentioned in the trailer I've watched. Fuck if I didn't just spoilerize myself. Sonovawhore. It will rock though, seriously.

Aayla and Ki-Adi dying could just be clever editing. We see a large group of Clonetroopers aiming at a target while Sidious is talking about killing the Jedi, then it cuts to Aayla and she has an "oh, shit" look on her face.

The guy under the wave of lava I completely missed, and someone pointed it out to me. Anakin's my best guess, but I know not who else is present.

Anakin is seen cutting a Neimoidian in two. I assume it is Nute from the headdress. Not 100% sure, though.

No worries, Chux, I'll be watching for those snippits next time! I'm assuming though that we're on about the same trailer (the one where Mace Windu arrests Palpatine?).

Speaking of Ki Adi Mundi though, shouldn't he already be dead? By my count, he (or a jedi very similar in appearance to him) was the last one standing for Grievous in CW ep 20 - no? Quite likely that was another "Jedi-that-looks-exactly-like-another-Jedi" a la Stass Alie. Silly G-Lu.

Grimlock not like new Star Wars movies. Palpatine is puny old fleshling, have to lie to take over universe. Megatron bad news, but Megatron honest; you know Megatron big nasty bad guy first time you see him. Megatron just blow head off. Palpatine kiss butt and blow head off from behind. Palpatine stupid.

Why are more people not goddamned more sensitive about just spilling massive spoilers? Once again, I can put together almost the whole fucking movie from shit that people just have to say. Let's just say if this was 1980, some asshole would say to me, "You like Star Wars? Cool. I hear Darth Vader is Luke's father and Han gets frozen in carbonite!" People saying spoilers without any warning, motherfuckit, it should be a fucking capital crime.

at first because of the first sentence, i read the second sentence with "licking" instead of "kicking" and well, i thought you were going to get some sort of rash on your tongue or something...

The funniest thing is, this is the one SW movie we should all be able to pretty much put together just from common sense. It's just little details that irritate me this time. I hope there's still some surprise. I had most of AOTC down by the time I saw it, though many bits were wrong, and I still about pissed myself when I saw the Death Star plans.

The Death Star plans were a VERY nice surprise! I was also surprisingly pleased with the Sifo Dias revelations and back story in Labyrinth. Read that book now folks, if you haven't yet. It's outstanding.

Anyhow, I saw the newer trailer again with my kids in front of Robots the other night. It's pretty fast paced, but I can see how you might infer someone's on the bridge, silhouetted by the lava in that .0004 second glimpse of that shot.

I got a new quasi-spoiler today, I had a look at the latest Insider and saw a pic of the "Ani on Mustafar" figure. I'll leave it at that, but feel free to discuss. I was sad to have "looked upon it with mine own eyes", methinks I've seen more than I wanted to. Yes, I'll be okay.

That's kinda a spoiler, but we've known about that since the ROTJ novelization in 1983.

Of course, the same book told us Owen was Obi-Wan's brother.

Yeah, and if you buch of illiterates had read "splinter of the Mind's Eye" you'd know that Vader DIES when Luk tosses him onto a pit full of lava and that this whole "P.T." is more like just plain P.U.

And I still think ROTS is gonna fucking rock, even if all them scenery jedi STILL suck out loud, at least Ki-adi-conhead mundi may have a chance to die like the bitch he is

Oh, and yoda may not fart in this film, hope that doesn't ruin it for the spoiler-free, since it would have been a spoiler if it was included IMO

Oh, and so as not to spoil anything, there's a villain in the new film that looks like he suck major moose cocks in almost every way you could imagine, maybe even literally, and his name is dumber than george bush (the head of state, not the reggae singer)
