We were mistaken to think it was. Up until today, it was. But this morning, I saw something more painful than watching a 24-hour loop of the "Star Wars Holiday Special". I'm talking of course about "Cool As Ice", starring Mr. Robert Van Winkle.

It was on Cinemax this morning and nothing else was on, so I figured "what the fuck." I only watched about 45 minutes of it because I had to get to class, but here's a synopsis:

Vanilla Ice rides around on his gay yellow motorcycle wearing his gay clothes while making out with this chick who's playing a teenager but looks old enough to be his mom. The icing (no pun intended) on the cake? The movie's soundtrack is his shitty rapping. Jesus, it's unbearable. Take a look:

The point is that this movie makes "Mac and Me" look like "E.T."

Wasnt it your idea to watch the SW Holiday special in a group viewing?

I was referring to watching the Holiday Special once (maybe twice) in a group. Not a 24 hour loop of it, and certainly not any movie starring Vanilla Ice.

You have reminded me that I should make that proposal public....

Holy fuck, that was so mind-numbingly bad it was awesome. I may need to track this down for more "Mac and Me" style fun, if that can ever be topped.

Well, it appears that someone was too young to remember the early 90s. I worked in a local video store from 1990 to 1993. I remember them carrying this movie, but I don't remember it being rented very often. I never saw this turd, but in my thread bitching about HBO, I did point out that they recently aired it.
