Looks like he's, all along, been an angel who's been misled to think he was a demon. Now he knows and, uh, he has angel wings.
Christ God Almighty, this has to be the worst idea this side of angelic Punisher.
Someone retcon the last several years worth of Marvel already, please.

There's always something good going on though, Chux. It's easy to hack on the tripe, but there are at least 10 books being put out monthly by Marvel right now that you'd be loving if you weren't boycotting them. Come on back into the fold, it's time to let go of your hate.

actually, i've been reading the current GR series and it's been pretty cool. it's an interesting twist, but it could also be a big red herring as it's the devil who told him that. um, he's the devil. he's always lying his ass off. of course, the devil made a good point - why would he want someone to go around punishing evil people who would otherwise end up going to hell?
the wings only showed up in one panel so far, and i think it was more a symbolic thing than anything else. i'm going to reserve judgment for the final outcome. as long as the story is tight, i've got no problem. it's definitely NOT the same as the angelic punisher crap.
