I don't know if you know anything about GIJoe (something tells me it was more of a "boy thing"), but I made this amazingly stupid post in the movie thread, and decadentdave took it totally at face value! It still boggles my mind, which is why I'm still bringing it up in amazement here.

The thing that bothered him most was Duke (the douchebag blonde who replaces Hawk as the field leader, and is a boring-ass goody two-shoes) being played by Beyonce. But weirder stuff like Larry David being in it, or Hulk Hogan playing Sergeant Slaughter didn't seem to phase him.

I LOVE G.I. Joe and I have all of my 3 3/4" Joes from the 80's on display, along with the VAMP and Dragonfly. I used to have the Rattler and F-14 jet but I gave them to my nephew long ago and I don't know what happened to them. Plus alot of the mail aways, like the Cobra Armor and Joe windrider and joe glider.

I love my old joes, I used to interact them with my star wars figs when I was kid. One of my favs was Zartan because he came with so many cool accessories, the extra 'face' did it!

AHHAHAHHA, I just went and looked at that post in the G.I. Joe movie thread, holy shit, that DecadentDick is a decadent douche! I can NOT believe he didn't realize that was a joke, IDIOT!! I SO want to know what he looks like, as I'm sure he would hate to know what I think he looks like now!

I posted a long item in the "bored with" thread there, which basically said that I won't be talking about the PT vs. OT (if you can call it that; I guess it's more like pro-PT and anti-PT despite what some may think) anymore over there. I just am tired of peaches, decadentdave, and bigbarada, in particular. A thread that turns from peaches being a fucking idiot and not realizing that they've been putting Jango heads on the stormtroopers for over a year into a fucking flame war. I'm just done.

I'll still stay on there for the figure news and SOME non-movie stuff, but I do find myself posting here more often than there.

Matt Hughes. I wouldn't know who the fuck he was if not for BB's sig. He creepily worships this guy more than Tycho worships Michael Bay.

Is that still in his sig line? He has had that matt hughes reference in is sig line for a while. I watch UFC once in a while. It is ok if you want to see someone get their ass kicked, but I don't think I've ever seen that guy.

Wasn't BigB one of the guys that were on that religious kick a while back? Funny how he made the switch to a guy with hairy nips.

Probably. I think he said once that he grew up in a trailer home in the Deep South, so it wouldn't surprise me. Actually that sort of explains his UFC fetish, too. But I don't know why a right-wing Christian would watch UFC, since it's basically guys in hotpants 69ing each other.

I thought he was from New Mexico (or at least lived there) and used to be in the Army. The Army part would explain the UFC thing. Its a macho thing. I had a couple friends that were into it.

I've seen a few matches on TV. I didn't see any fighting. I just saw guys wrestling around on the floor like they were fuckin' puppies. If I want to see a real fight, I'll just look for it on YouTube.

A lot of the fights I have seen have ended up being wrestling matches that end with a submission. But then there will be a match where one dude makes a mistake and ends up getting pummeled.
