Transformers has been nominated for three Oscars, including Best Sound, Sound Editing, and Visual Effects. I think the rage all of you express right now is palpable.
My gripe with the Oscars is with the absence of "The Simpsons Movie" in the Best Animated Feature category. Seriously, "Surf's Up"???!!! WHAT THE FUCK??!!! At least "Ratatouille" will win that.

TMNT should be there, too, if only on the merits of the AMAZING animation. It really pushed the limits of CG.
