Looks very faithful to the comic. My guess is that it'll be on screen for all of about 48 seconds.

the next image looks like a drawring of the "real" suit- I kinda HATE that manga-spawn look of Ultimate Iron Man tho..
And 48 seconds JJ?? That'd REALLY cut into the probable 5 minutes of Iron Man action that's likely to be in the film, wouldn't it??

They hired Robert Downey Jr because he can be a convincing DRUNK, not a convincing SuperHero. This movie's going to be all about the alkihol.
Cheers!!

Well that's an excellent Iron Man story to go to for a movie - IM 200 was one of the most awesome comics of my young adulthood. Sadly, I never read the whole lead up to the big throwdown between Tony and Obediah Stane... just that issue alone. The armor looks awesome.

The original comic story: While Stark was in the middle of his alcoholic binge, Stane snuck in with a hostile takeover and renamed Stark International STANE INTERNATIONAL.
I think the movie version has Stark as a protoge to Stane and the movie revolves around some sort of industrial intrigue when Stark bumps heads with his former boss/idol.

I want to like Iron Man, but I can't stand Robert Downey Jr.

Very good, very good. It looks like it could be as enjoyable as "Spider Man".

Meh. It looks no more or less like a pile of ass than it did before. They can't change the fact that IM is Marvel's least interesting core character by a few million miles.
