Holy fuck buckets. Can you believe next week 300 comes out and smacks around whatever movies you USED to think were hardcore sword and sandal pics? I pity those old movies. They're gonna get kicked down a well. Did I mention it's by Frank Miller? Even though he's being a douche with the AS Batman, he gets a pass for writing such a balls out fucking awesome comic to get translated to the silver screen.

we don't have a topic for this movie? what the fuck! i must be slipping in my old age.
yeah, this looks like it's gonna rock ass. and it's almost like it's a prequel to sin city, seeing as how dwight uses this battle as his inspiration for the back-alley shoot out in old town.

That being the case, it could be a prequel to EP's fave, The Last Samurai.

This movie looks cool on so many levels, I am afraid it will suck the big one.

Dude - I'm going to give it a shot, and I might have to leave my seat and "give it a shot" half way through the movie because I'll be so fucking jacked up from the Frank Millerness.

Events are unfolding and I feel my life may be in danger. My time is short. I can feel it. Many years ago I stumbled onto a secret plot to [TAKE OVER THE INTERNET, ONE WEBSITE AT A TIIME] at the Card:Other Section at the other site perpatrated by the mysterious [DOCTOR DOUCHE] and his henchman DeckardSmith. DeckardSmith discovered my presence and sought to discredit me by supplanting my username Rollo Tomassi. I discredited him but the damage had been done. I suspected his endgame and he knew I knew. And so began our deadly game of cat and mouse across the internet and through several websites and forums. I nearly laid bare the plans of the true mastermind [DOCTOR DOUCHE] here at Vynsane, but again was foiled when DeckardSmith and a team of vicious otters from [HASBRO.COM, WHICH WAS ALREADY INFILTRATED BY DOUCHE ] attempted to cover their tracks by erasing huge chunks of posts and placing blame on the Romulans. As I grow closer, [DOCTOR DOUCHE] grows more desperate, throwing obvious ruses such as Perpantor and Action-Online at us. But now something has happened. We have a traitor in our midst. I believe [ZERO] of the Moderator Terror Squad is actually a plant and has betrayed us all. He has given up my location to Deckard Smith whom I believe is really our old nemesis [UTINNI]. If he finds me before I discover their true intention, the Internet is Doomed!!

I really want to see this movie now. Not sure if it was The History Channel or one of the Discovery Channels, but this weekend there was a documentary on this battle and used clips from 300. Pretty kick ass, especially for a documentary.

This movie totally deserved its $70 Million Weekend Box Office! You know what that means....
...sequel.

Coming soon:
301.
The totally fictional story of 301 Roman soldiers who fight to the death against Hannibal's invading army.
Seriously, although it would be impossible to do a sequel, I still wouldn't put it past Hollywood to try to do a film about the fall of the Alamo using similar design and cinematography.
