Is it me, or do George and Rick(?) have a bet about far they go over the line into complete stupid before fans stop eating out of their hands. So far, George is winning.

I think the one thing that bugs me the most in this whole Clone Wars nonsense is Ashoka.
Besides the fact she looks like a 12-year-old tramp, she doesn't fit in the established time line very well.
From what I've been able to gather, she is appointed to Anakin after he loses the padawan braid and before he grows the mullet. And that window of time is pretty short, IIRC (I'd check, but I just don't care right now).

In the novel, he apparently starts calling her "Snips" because she's snippy. In other words, another reason this will stink.

How Anakin could have a padawan who it seems has to die before the end of the series, yet this not be addressed in ROTS, is the biggest clusterfuck in SW history.

As seen on the design of Anakin for the movie/show, his hair is longish but not as long as it was in ROTS. I read that apparently his hair was already long when he was knighted in the first CW series (so it would match up with a novel that also had him knighted) but it looked short since it was tied up in a knot. Right. Samurai Jack also had shoulder-length hair in one or two episodes when it came out of the knot, so I dunno, maybe Genndy has a weird thing for long hair looking short.

I don't care too much about the continuity with the comics/books, but I bet Leland Chee (the guy who maintains Lucasfilm's continuity) will be busy for quite a while with this one.

Does Leland Chee have his own action figure yet?

I'm going to shed some more positive light on "The Clone Wars". A couple of minutes ago, I saw a TV spot for "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor". A few commercials later, a "Clone Wars" spot showed up. "The Mummy 3" makes "Clone Wars" look like "The Godfather", even with the burping Hutt. Jesus, have you seen the previews for that piece of shit? They use the term "mummy magnets". At least the "Mummy" TV spot made "Clone Wars" look a little better in comparison.

I just can't believe they show those atrociously animated "abominable snowmen" in that Mummy commercial. That's the sort of shitty CG studios are supposed to try to bury.

I walked over to Kraft catering on the set of this awesome show I work on, and loaded up a plate with some baked potato, sour cream, chives, whole roasted chicken breast, and some kind of a delicious bread. They also had ribs, filleted trout, fresh sliced fruit, a pasta dish, etc etc. You know how it is on these big hit TV shows with the lavish catering...

ANYWAY. I'm walking back to my office and see a line forming outside the studio theatre. As I walk by, I ask a guy what's showing. "Clone Wars" he replies. I shrug and continue on back to my office.

Thats right. I would rather eat delicious food than watch this movie for FREE. Stupid bunghole of a film.

Is the Force Unleashed game and the Clone Wars both about Anakin/Vader's apprentice?
