The Bears have gotta get their shit together at QB. Not sure about Michigan... hope they don't loose to a IAA team again this year, should they play onejjreason wrote:My interest in football this year is at an all-time low. It's likely because my teams (Bears and Michigan) are going to win a total of 10 games combined.

Re: Football
That went pretty well. Based on Foxsports' player rankings, my team is looks good on paper. There were even a few players I expected to pick in the later rounds, but higher rated players were still around.kidhuman wrote:Draft tonight 11pm

I'm glad I drafted live. My team is hella nasty. The autodraft wouldn't have been nearly as good. I'm very pleased with how last night played out.

Re: Football
Here is my team from my friend's league. He likes to screw with the line-ups just for the hell of it. This year, we're starting 2 QBs,3 WRs, 1 RB, 1 TE, a WR/TE, and aWR/RB. We also have a team Defence, plus 2 open D, a DL and a DB. And just to fuck with us further, he doesn't give us enough bench spots for back-ups at each position. It was an Autodraft and I had the #8 pick. Here is what I ended up with:
1. (8) Marion Barber
2. (9) Marshawn Lynch
3. (24) Marques Colston
4. (25) Torry Holt
5. (40) Jason Witten
6. (41) Greg Jennings
7. (56) Chris Chambers
8. (57) Matt Hasselbeck
9. (72) San Diego
10. (73) Philip Rivers
11. (88) Phil Dawson
12. (89) Terrence McGee
13. (104) Antonio Cromartie
14. (105) Terrell Suggs
15. (120) Roderick Hood
16. (121) Maurice Jones-Drew
17. (136) Kevin Smith
18. (137) Todd Heap
19. (152) Tony Scheffler
20. (153) Reggie Williams
21. (168) Tennessee
I'm going to drop Roderick Hood and pick up another LB or DL. I'll probably also ditch a TE, Tennessee's Defense, and maybe Kevin Smith.

I don't know what to make of that league RII. I just know I wouldn't want to be any part of it, especially if money was involved.

Re: Football
After watching the game tonight, I think Madden learned a new phrase: "Jump cut".
I am now glad that Favre didn't stay retired and the Jets went and got him. If he stayed retired, all we'd be hearing right now is Favre is talking to the Patriots.
The guy who runs the league has 3 QBs. Tom Brady, JaMarcus Russell, and Schaub. Think he's screwed?UKWildcat wrote:I don't know what to make of that league RII. I just know I wouldn't want to be any part of it, especially if money was involved.

Re: Football
That douche bag on the Eagles that dropped the ball at the 1 yard line may have cost me the game on one of my fantasy leagues. McNabb is my starter, so I lost those points for the TD pass. The sad thing is that they quickly found footage of him doing it before at a high school all-star game. He did some stupid flip into the endzone and lost the ball.
Re: Football
I don't believe those damn Grins beat me in Fantasy this week. Fucking Denver sucks. I thought Prater would get me the win easily. Ahhh bullshit!!!

Bills fans have had about enough. Since they can't fire the owner, they are doing this:

Oh, and I see that it is fantasy football playoff time.
