If you've got the regular one, you should get the scout. It's a fucking HISS trailer with guns!!

HisStank has the pics of the Retalation figures. The vehicles look pretty cool. Especially loving the new Swamp Viper, the new HISS Driver, and the stupidly-named "Ninja Combat Crusher."

The white version of Jinx looks amazing. Red, not so much, since it just looks dumb to have her neck and cleavage exposed while she's got a mask. But... SDCC exclusives? You mean one of the fucking main characters is an exclusive? I'm assuming that it's just the gi, and there will be another version in a costume that's worn more often. That head is a must-have.

Shockwave HISS? Just stupid. They're trying to milk the success of the Starscream Skystriker, but at least Starscream was a plane.

Yeah, Shockwave is only cool when he's in Giant one eyed Purple Robot Mode. If he's "stuck" in Vehicle Mode, who gives a poopy diaper?

Looks like there is some cool stuff (with dumb names). It is probably safe to say that Firefly will be featured in this movie, so there should be at least one decent figure of him. I'd consider getting one or both Jinx figures. My youngest daughter likes the girl figures. She claims she doesn't want any of her own.

Maybe I'll look for the Hiss scout and decide if I want it after I see it.

Unless there's a Jinx figure that's not shown, she's the Comic-Con exclusive. I think red is "normal" (despite being a shitty repaint) and white is the variant. Which means the red version will probably be $14, and the white variant more than that.

There's also the issue of how insanely tough SDCC exclusives are to get. I'm not going this year, and am not going to even bother trying to get them. (Now that I've said that, the Star Wars exclusive will be something insanely awesome.)

Crap. I just figured that out when I clicked on the hi-res pictures. Maybe there will be a non-exclusive kit-bashed repaint for the main line.

That movie Hiss Tank is pretty cool. So is the Vamp upgrade. Under the right conditions, I'll get the Ripper Tank w/ Clutch.

Movie figure pictures from Toy Fair.

Bruce Willis looks ok. There is a movie Jinx in a black/yellow outfit. For some reason, they can't call her Jinx. She is being refered to as "Kimi Arashikage". They are making a movie Lady Jaye, too.

SDCC will also have an exclusive Destro w/ mini Soundwave in tape recorder mode, a suitcase of cash, and what looks like some energon cubes on the push cart from the 25th dvd set.

THEY'RE FINALLY MAKING AN UPDATED CRIMSON GUARD!! (Assuming any of this stuff actually comes out.)

The Bruce Willis figure does look pretty good, but he looks ripe for customization. Constructicon BAT is a bit weird, but I'm guessing all the weird crossover stuff will be one set this year, so I might have to get the whole shebang.

And, holy shit, Blind Master looks fucking awesome. He's definitely not the classic Blind Master, but that figure looks bloody sweet!

Target is getting the Lifeline wave. I saw Law & Order at the Target near UNLV, but they charge over a dollar more for their figures than any other Target in town, probably because it is the closest one to The Strip. They wanted $10.39 for a Joe figure. That's Walgreen's price. I'll wait until it shows up at another Target. If not, I'll just order the wave from HTS or BBTS.

If you are still looking for Crazy Legs, try here: http://www.gijoeonestop.com/apps/websto ... 109?page=1

It is $13, but that is the cheapest I've seen it.

Hmmmm.... I am tempted. I must admit.

I did discover the BAT forearms will work on the Zombie Viper, but you need to use boiling water since the peg for the interchangeable Zombie Viper forearms is much thicker than the peg used on the BAT.

Seriously, Hasbro. Same exact portion of forearm interchangeable here. Throw us a little bone for once.

Crap. I've been putting off ordering the current wave from HTS, BBTS, or EE hoping to be able to find it in a store. I just checked all 3 plus amazon, smalljoes, pastgeneration, and brianstoys. None of them have them in stock as a complete wave.

Hopefully either HTS restocks or I find them at Target or WM.

Lifeline/Airtight/Law & Order/Sci-Fi/Zombie Corpse Viper?

I found two at one Target, and the whole wave less than a week later at another. I'm not sure what happened to the Arctic Destros at either store; they didn't go on clearance, at least not that I saw. If that's what you're looking for and you don't find them soon, let me know (or I'll just go ahead and keep an eye out for them anyway).

I might want another Zombie Viper or two. I realized after getting the BAT arm pretty permanently on the one (well, unless I want to boil him again) that the tentacles are as close as we're likely to ever get to the Bio-Vipers from Renegades. I might have to make one.

I'm still surprised at some of the Renegades figures and vehicles they never made. I would give my left nut for Renegades-styled Bio-Vipers, Jinx, Mindbender, Baroness (preferably in the red battle armor, which was amazingly sweet), Destro, BATs, Lady Jaye, Hawk, Roadblock (seriously, Hasbro, no fucking Roadblock with mutton chops?), and, especially, Major Bludd's vehicle and the mech suits Scrap-Iron was working on. (And that's not even counting the dozen or so more I wouldn't give a nut for, but would buy in a heartbeat.) Fuck, I don't even count Ripcord, as he looks absolutely nothing like the Renegades character, and, really, would snap-on Bio-Viper parts have been too much to ask?

It boggles my mind that Transformers Prime gets so much love and sucks so badly, but Renegades was essentially killed before it started.

I definitely want Lifeline/Airtight/Law & Order/Sci-Fi. I'm not sure about buying the rest of them individually. If I was going to order the case, getting the others would be fine.

Isn't it weird that the cases were in stock all week at all of these sites, now they are all sold out?

Anyway, it seems like Hasbro really dropped the ball with Renegades. Its like they didn't think the cartoon would be popular and didn't support it with toys until it was too late.

Just checked the UPS tracking number and saw that the case of figures I ordered will be delivered today. After all these years of collecting Star Wars and now GI Joe, this is the first case of figures I have ever ordered. Someone really screwed up distribution for the past few waves.

Joes are $10.99 at all the local Targets. <sigh> I guess I won't be seeing new stuff at Walgreen's and thinking, "Holy shit, that's expensive! I'll take my chances on finding it at Target for several dollars less."

As can probably be expected, a ton of all the Renegades figures, except for Storm Shadow. Looks like I really lucked out by finding him, as most folks appear to be having difficulty.
