I imagined if people do it with $5 action figures, it will certainly occur to them to do it with a $160 toy. And you know the minimum wager at the service desk won't know the difference. "Is there a big, clunky toy in the box? Okay."

Doouble post. Write my name on Grimmy's face.

I can just see the heartbreak on some little kid's face when he opens up that box and realized he just got Effed in the A. And the rage on his parents face when they realize they got Effed in the A.

It's a $160 lesson in A Effing.

I wouldn't do. I actually don't mind the vintage molds of vehicles. It is a nostalgic thing.

The sculpt of the original Falcon is amazing - it's just the scale that suffered over time. Believe me, when I was a kid - that fucking box was ENORMOUS.

I offered on a 2nd hand BMF today - $150 CDN, taxes included. No reply yet.

Agreed. I did not buy the new falcon because I have my vintage one out on display and prefer this one to anything else. Not saying that the bmf is not an amazing toy, because it is, but I can't justify spending that much on it when it will only collect dust.

Yeah, the money is the other thing. The only reason I got the Imperial Shuttle is because it was on clearance (and I think it was Christmas, too).

Since all of the SW vehicles I had as a kid are long gone, buying the modern equivalent was the best I could do. The only vehicle I had as a kid that I don't have now is the Cloud Car. So that would be: the POTF2 X-Wing, SOTE Slave 1, POTF2 landspeeder, OTC Falcon, and the Saga TIE fighter. I also managed to pick up a few other vehicles on the way, too. The only whole in my vehicle collection is the Y-Wing.

Spell check would never pick up that one. I wonder if there is a grammar checker add-on for Firefox.

This is pretty telling:
GalacticHunter.com: Will the Force Unleashed Darth Vader be updated to reflect the character's "younger" look from the video game. (Fans love the older Darth Vader, but the younger version is more game-specific. It would be welcomed.)
Hasbro: We don't have plans to update the The Force Unleashed Darth Vader (Battle Damage) figure, but when the game comes out we'll take another look at possibilities for updates and additional major figures that rate future figure consideration. Certainly any Vader variation puts it ahead of just about any other figure!
So, it's not just our perception, but an official policy.

If they do change the head sculpt, change the eye spot on the helmet douches

What the hell? Star Wars meets Power Rangers? The Emperor looks terrible.

I want to say something bad, really bad, but I won't. I will say I do not like the way Star Wars is headed!
