I thought Shadow Tracker was green. Of course, I haven't seen him. Damn you, Hasbro, and damn your Arctic Destros!

I saw him a few times. Once at Walmart, the other two times were at Walgreen's. Only saw Skydive a couple times, and I never saw the other new Destro with the big gun and briefcase full of money. Its weird how that wave just didn't really show up much. Good thing I didn't want any of them.

Can't wait to see what ends up on clearance between Christmas and the time the new movie figures hit.

I got the Destro from HTS. I mostly wanted the body for customization, but they released it as a new Iron Grenadier, too.

Shadow Tracker and Crazylegs were the two I wanted the most. I'm expecting them at Marshalls any day now. No joke. Wouldn't mind getting the POC version of the Steel Brigade guy, too.

I'll have to make a note to check Walgreens. I never go there otherwise.

I did see Crazy Legs a couple times. It wasn't a very impressive figure.

Hopefully Walgreen's has restocked since their buy one get one free sale a couple weeks ago. They are really hit and miss. Chances are they will probably have the Stalker wave, but I did see a Low Light there recently.

Stalker is a figure I'd like to buy more of on clearance for customs.

Yeah, but a Hasbro Crazylegs is less cost and effort than an Anarky Crazylegs. :) I figure I have Breaker, Doc, Quick Kick, and Heavy Metal (under a new name), so I'll get any other of the "Trucial Abysmia Nine" that they make.

Wanna hear something severely fucked up?

Eh, here it is anyway.

Anarky Jr this morning decided "the only thing" she wanted for Christmas is a Rapunzel wig. Yup, a toy from last year's Disney movie, so you can imagine how easy that is to find. I remembered seeing Princess dress-up stuff at Big Lots, and figured I'd hit the two nearest us. (It turned out it was the wigs for all the other princesses. It didn't occur to me how much bigger Rapunzel's would be.)

Leaving the first one, I see Walgreens, which I normally ignore. But I'm thinking, "Ran said he saw Crazylegs and Shadow Tracker there. It's a long shot, but let's see what they've got." And they have one GIJoe figure: the Renegades Cobra Trooper.

I'm completely shocked to find a brand spanking new figure, and only one from the wave, at $11.99. Fuck, I mock Rite Aid all the damned time because their GIJoes are $9.99 and they still have the same couple from ROC Wave 1 (what, three years ago?) rotting because no one wants them. But Walgreens clearly has some turnaround at a higher price, despite Wal-Mart being quite close. Weird.

On the way to the second Big Lots, I go into another Walgreens. Again, $11.99. Again, only one figure. This time it's the POC Zartan (the one that looks like Raptor).

Strike out at Big Lots #2, and head home a different way, a road that's more direct from there to my home than the route between the two Big Lots. And stop in the third Walgreens, one that I can easily walk to.

This time they have four Joes at that price. They have Skydive, which means they obviously had figures from around the same time as the two I want. Fuck.

The bizarre-as-shit thing, though, is that Skydive is behind three others: Lifeline, Law & Order, and Sci-Fi. Three figures I've not seen a single report of anyone finding yet.

Given that WM is getting cleaned out nicely by Christmas, and Target will probably finally clearance those fucking Arctic Destros soon and have room, I figured safer to take my chances. Five bucks per figure is a bit much if I'm reasonably sure they'll be available more widely.

Given the typical "card switch blues," I will be completely unsurprised to see the others at Marshalls or Ross.

Speaking of which, I saw the TRU Sting Raider once, about a month ago. I expected it to sit around. It didn't. I didn't get it, but it's no loss. That "Swamp Viper" repaint of the Air Viper is sweet, but hardly worth $11, and I have no need for another Water Moccasin (fuck the "Sting Raider" bullshit) and absolutely no fucking need at all for yet another Copperhead. (They really had a hard-on for him for quite a while.)

Fuuuuuuuck.... There's the Rock Viper and Hawk, too. I keep forgetting those fuckers.

Walgreen's has the most random crap. I haven't seen any reports of Lifeline, etc being found in stores yet either. The people who have that wave seem to have ordered them online.

I think I've seen every figure (up to the Techno Viper wave) at least once, except for the Temple Snake Eyes, not that I had any intention of buying it.

Marshall's got more ROC figures in, but it is the same bunch of Storm Shadows (shirtless, arctic, and something else), Snake Eyes (city strike, arctic, and Paris), Red Fang Ninja, Charbroil, Cobra Commander, and some Cobra troop with a repaint of Junkyard. They also had about 10 ROC Night Ravens.

I haven't found anything new at Ross. Just those MARS 3 packs and a few vehicles from that canceled wave. If you really need another Swamp Viper, I think I picked up a second one at the flea market a couple months ago (without accessories) for $2.

I might have to take you up on that, simply because getting another Air Viper and repainting it is far more than $2 worth. Wonder why someone would buy a previously existing vehicle and get rid of the only new figure.

Thanks to our very own Ran and jjreason, it appears I have knocked a large hole out of the missing 2011 figures. I appear to only need Crazylegs, Shadow Tracker, and Rock Viper. And possibly the first heavy gunner Iron Grenadier (the POC has a slightly different color scheme that looks much nicer, I think, than the 30th Anniversary version).

And the Temple Snake Eyes, if it was released. I don't think it was, though. If anyone sees it, I would army-build that fucker.

Another thing to add to your shopping list. Hisstank says that the Resolute sets are showing up at Ross for $16.99. (Escondido to be exact). There are pictures of the figures with Ross price tags. I'm not sure if I'll get them because there are only a couple in each set I would want. I'll have to think about it.

Hmmm.... It would appear patience is rewarded (assuming I can find the damned things).

I don't suppose you know of a good checklist of the POC stuff and what was actually released, would you? I'm trying to figure out what I'm still missing, and it's tough to keep jumping around and searching for threads on things from months ago.

Chux, forgot to mention that I have no problem holding the stuff here for a month, in case you find it cheaper down there. I think at about the 30 day mark however is when most stores cut off your return option. I'll post the pic here as well once I get it snapped.

The vehicles in this list have release dates, but not the figures.

No kidding.

Anyway, they are reporting that TRU Exclusive Spirit and Quick Kick are showing up at Ross for $3.99.

I might get Quick Kick for that. I got Spirit, and he's a sweet-ass figure.
