I skimmed through the graphic novel (is this even supposed to be out?) yesterday and can confirm that, story-wise at least, Transformers II is worse than the first. The first had no story. This one has a bad story.

I was getting gas at 7-11 today and saw a Terminator poster. If you put an helmet on the Terminator, he'd pretty much fit into the Transformers movie.

Sad, really. The original Skids was one of the smartest, most complex Transformers.

I read a Jar Jar comparison in another review...frankly this stuff from TF: ROTF seems offensive to Jar Jar Binks !

i would be surprised, where it any movie other than a michael douche movie.

Based on the midnight showings people, even the dumbasses that liked the first, seem to think TF2 is terrible.

god i really hope this doesn't do as well as the first one, and thus doesn't spawn a third...

the main problem is we're going to have to wait until we're in like, our 50's or so for a second chance, when the remakes of this era's movies start cropping up. there's no way anything can come out in the next decade called 'transformers' and not be plowed under by the bad taste left in so many people's mouths by this series of celluloid abortions.

Once again I take the bullet

A friend brought a copy over last night and we sat through it til the end. It is bad. Whatever made anyone see anything good in this film I couldn't say, it is an idiotic mess of pure shit, there's not even a point in stating anything specific, everything about it sucks in the worst way... That being said I am gonna watch it again in a different setting, there's enough bits that are so bad I am sure there's humour to be made of it that hasn't been tapped yet, it truly, deeply stinks

Okay I watched it again, it truly is stupid but Ravage is actually cool-ish for a while

Stupidest "FUCK YOU G1 fans" moment- after Prime comes back to life and gets the jet parts welded on him, he stands ready then yells "Let's ROLL"- then he immediately blasts off leaving all the transformers standing in a cloud of dust in robot modes while he flies several miles over the horizon

silly michael bay... that's not rolling...

I saw the Ravage toy. His head sort of looks like a pissed off version of Gypsy from MST3K.

I'm pretty sure I'm the only person on these boards that actually likes the first one but I even thought this one was carp. There were far too many sexual type jokes and whatnot. One of the few good things about the movie was Sam's mom. I loved her in the first one too. Oh, and Megan Fox. I seriously think I'd pay for dinner if we went out.
