I've seen a few clips on youtube, but this weekend, I finally saw about 1 and a half episodes. It was on some weird channel on DirecTV I never watch. In the half episode, they chased some mafia wannabe out of the trailer park. The other episode the one guy just got out of prision and moved into his buddy's car. There were some good lines. The park security guy kept threatening to do environmental tests on the soil because the car was leaking fluids.

Since I will never remember to turn it on, I might have to set the Tivo for this.

I was actually just thinking of this show the other day because "Flight of the Conchords" kind of reminded me of TPB. I heard they're coming out with another movie too...

Ahhh the new movie, the FINAL TPB ever (planned anyways, but regular production stopped like 3 years ago) is to be called "Countdown to Liquor Day"

Ran- the episodes you saw are typical. Leahy is the drunken supervisor/cop. In his mind, he IS the liquor. Cyrus is the "mob" guy (tho he's really just a hustler/asshole with a gun and some prostitutes)

Probably Ricky who moved into the car, he "moves in" to that fucking car all the time.

Well, I think I may have weasled my way into the official "Canadian Club". The other day I bought and watched TPB: The Movie. I think I'm gonna watch it this weekend again. That shit was too fucking funny. Far too many things that I laughed at to even list here.

Which film, Slick?? I would imagine it is "the big dirty", but Countdown to Liquor Day is pretty funny too.
Did you get the extended/deleted scenes on the disc? If so you must check them out- I have no idea how most of it got cut as it actually would have made the film even better and not too much longer than the already economical run-time.

If it's out there somewhere, "Say goodnight to the bad guys" is super fucking hilarious, possibly better than the 2 films and features possibly the funniest cameo EVER- there's a dance/party set up and rather than a dress code there's just a sign that says "No Dicks". Ricky gets pissed off at the doorman at one point and says something like "What did I tell you, look, there's dicks fucking everywhere, get them the fuck out". The doorman walks over to this group of people and addresses the one in the middle saying "sorry, no dicks, you gotta leave" and he looks dejected and turns and leaves without protest, and that was the whole cameo- the awesome part is that the dick was Chad Kroeger of Nickelback fame

Yeah, yeah it was "The Big Dirty". I'm gonna watch the movie again so I'll have to take in the extras as well.

For some reason the part that I laughed the most at was when Bubbles called it a "helicocksucker". I rewound it just to hear it again in his voice.

I watched it again last night with the extras and you were 100% correct. A lot of the cut scenes were even better than those that were in the movie. My favorite was the "Gay and Ungay" one.

I bought Countdown to Liquor Day yesterday. It's not nearly as good as The Big Dirty, IMO, but it has its parts. Obviously Randy's fucking "hair-do" is epic and I also like how they get out of trouble yet again because of a drunk. Still a good movie but not as good as the original.

I suppose the impact "Countdown" had on us was that it was the END of TPB, at least foreseeably (is that even a word?) whereas Big Dirty was merely a film that came out while the show was still running- having one final blast of the tpb "universe" was a bittersweet experience at the theatre, for me at least
