Tuesday Morning stores had the Prince of Persia stuff for a while. Not sure if it is still around. Wasn't planning on adding any horses to my collection. Last year I bought one Prince of Persia figure (my idea was that he would go in Jabba's palace), and the gate "playset". There foot pegs on the vertical surface that work well with the POC Desert Stormshadow. You know, because he's a ninja and can clime walls and stuff.

Ironically, George Lucas said he was gonna stick Jake Gylenhaal in the BluRay 3D version of ROTJ in 2015. So that was oddly prescient of you.

HisStank revealed the Iron Klaw figure, which is kinda... underwhelming. The head is too narrow to be believable as a mask.

Also, the confirmation that one must not only be a fan club member, but a fan club member at the highest tier of membership, $42+. Yeah, uh, definitely fuck that noise. If the figures are $14 each, shipped, and the thirteenth is, indeed, free, that'd still be almost $17 per figure, and they're mostly shit.

For that price, I'll get vehicles and legitimate exclusives.

Yeah, she looks like a cross between VvV and Sigma Six. Definitely seals the deal as a "no" for me. Even if the design isn't bad, it's inconsistent with the RAH Jinx, who wouldn't go into battle blindfolded (even if she were a master of The Ear That Sees technique, which I don't think she was).

My kitbash of ROC Scarlett and Snake Eyes looks a shit-ton more like Jinx than this, and I'm an amateur who's not even especially good at it... and it's completely unfinished.

I hadn't looked at the pics of the Zombie Viper and figured he was a Toxo-Zombie -- basically, a Toxo-Viper whose been so affected by the chemicals he's using and the cheap-ass hazard suit Coba supplies him (the position is a punishment, and there's a reason they're nicknamed the "Leaky Suit Brigade") that they've more or less become barely-sentient walking masses of cancer. As such, I was considering it.

This, however, looks like such shit that it makes the Toxo-Zombie concept look good. I wish I could say this piece of shit will rot on pegs and send Hasbro a message, but, sadly, the inexplicable boner most fanboys have for zombies (AKA "the most fucktarded legions of the undead ever") will lead to this crap selling and future zombie figures.

God damn, I fucking hate zombies. I'd rather spend the rest of my life with the fucking whiny-ass crybaby pussy vampires from Twilight and True Blood than see any of the tons of crappy zombie shit again.

(There are some decent zombie works, mostly Walking Dead and the earlier works of Romero. But the vast majority suck so much ass it's a wonder the Earth hasn't imploded under the force of their collective suction.)

There's a variant Steel Brigade figure. I read about it earlier on HisStank, then saw it in person and bought it. It looks like a running change; the body is now based on one of the POC Snake Eyes figures, and has different legs and fewer paint details. The most obvious way to know it's the variant is that the rockets in the backpack are tan instead of black, and his sweater is ribbed.

Is there just the two Steel Brigade figures, or are/were there more than that? Because the first time I saw them a few weeks ago, I noticed different designs and thought 'cool'.

What's Dr. Mindbender's first name?

It's Brian in some sources (I know Renegades for certain), but I'm not sure if "Dr. Brian Bender" is canon in all Joe-verses. I imagine the 1/2 issue that came with Scarface had his first name, since it showed him as an orthodontist, but don't recall for 100% sure.

I'm of the mind that, as awful as the movie is, Cobra Commander's name may as well be Rex Lewis. The only other time he was given a name, so far as I know, is Renegades, where he's Adam DeCobray. However, we all know that, in RAH, DeCobray is Baroness's canon last name by birth (I do not buy the whole "DeCobray is an alias" shit from Devil's Due), and Cobra Commander is clearly not her brother in this universe, so that cannot be right. I can live with combining them to Adam "Rex" Lewis, though. We know he was a plain old midwesterner whose son had the insanely ridiculous name of William, so, unless someone in power comes up with an appropriate name, I'll assume his is equally whitebread.
