I bought the LEGO Executor the other day. I had it sent to Florida so it'll be a few months before I get to build it. The damn thing cost me over $400 so it had better be good.

Found Airtight and Law & Order today (finally!) for less than the insane Walgreens markup. They were both on jacked-up cards, which is probably why they were there and Lifeline wasn't. I imagine most Joe fans will want Lifeline, but can't see anyone picking him over a figure with a dog or a Joe in a hazmat suit. At least the Zombie-Viper (also not there) is an army builder, so it makes sense for him to be gone.

I saw 2 Zombies and the renegades figures at my local WM Saturday. Lifeline, Airtight, Law & Order, and Sci-fi were gone. I've just about justified ordering the wave from Hasbro.

I saw the weird zombie thing at Target in Florida - it was part of the animated line (or so I thought - there were no "real" looking Joes on site). I wound up getting podracer Mawhonic from a WM down there and passed on everything else.

Went to a different WM and found some deleted scene figures that were in the system, for a change. No Luke, who I didn't want. No Lando, which is odd, because I can't fathom anyone wanting Lando and not Leia (plus Lando tends to pegwarm usually).

And at a different Target, found the entire Lifeline wave.

So I got:
Cracken
Mon Cal Pilot
Sandstorm Leia
Sci-Fi
Lifeline
Zombie Viper

Got Kup and the deluxe Capt. America w/ parachute on clearance from Target.

Kup made me remember that I suck at transforming these things. So he is now stuck in robot mode until my frustration subsides and I try to get him back into vehicle mode.

My house is one-story, but it has vaulted ceilings. Still, my 1st throw with Capt. America didn't do well indoors. He bounced off the ceiling and the chute didn't open in time before he hit the floor. My kids said we should try outside. That sounded like a plan at first. As I'm preparing to throw it, one of them said something about the wind opening up the parachute. In that split second as I'm releasing it, I realize that it is a bit windy already, but it was too late. I toss it and the wind immediately takes it and puts it on the roof of our patio. I got it down easy enough, but it was a tough few jumps for him.

Kup is a frickin' sweet figure. Aside from Grimlock, all my Transformers Classics (and similar lines) are in robot mode. I especially love the poseability of Kup; he's definitely one of the best in the line.

If the Deluxe Caps are on clearance, I might need to swing by there and get another AIM Trooper or two. That's another nice figure; I got one to make an updated SAW Viper with, but he's really cool and I haven't "adulterated" him yet.

The Deluxe figures were $5, but I think the regular figures were still full price. It didn't make any sense. I liked the appearance of this particular Capt. America better than any of the others they had there, anyway. This figure's outfit is how I typically envision him. I figured out how to get him out of the harness. Maybe I'll put it on a GI Joe instead.

Kup was only $6.50, so I couldn't pass that up even though I'm not much of a Transformers collector.

I've seen several of the TF's at Ross for either $5.99 or $6.99. Truthfully, I don't think there's a single one I wouldn't recommend at that price or lower. Tracks and Wheeljack share a mold for the most part, and are amazing figures as well. Blurr's really nice, too, though not as easy to find. Wreck-Gar is the other "must-own" of the series, especially if you get two or find the other Junkion (Scrapheap? Junkheap?).

BBTS had the GI Joe wave I was looking for, so I just ordered it. Now, I am sure it will hit retail in mass.

Is it weird that I was contemplating buying an entire Hockey figure, just to get the Lord Stanley accessory it came with? I don't even watch or care for hockey that much. I just wanted the Cup so I could make my other action figures doing strange things to it.

Cooler heads prevailed.

I have a bunch of NHL figures. None of them have The Cup. I hadn't considered buying a figure to get that particular accessory.

I wandered into a Marshall's today. They had one of those Mego-style Batman figures made by Mattel for $10. I've seen Superman and a few others at TRU for $20, so Batman seemed like a good deal. Just another modern reproduction of a toy I had as a kid.

Got some Legos. Dump Truck, Ambulance, Off Road Fire Rescue, and a police helicopter (7741). Also got some series 7 minifigures: Jungle boy, 2 Galaxy Patrol, bagpiper, and the Viking woman.

Quadruple post. Go fuck yourself 4 times, Grimlock.

We went to KMart to pick up the Lego sets we ordered. To my surprise, they had Dr. Evazan and Kithaba. No Wedge.
