Re: Semi-Dayley dose of METAL
This isn't actually metal, but this 90-ish motherfucker definitely has a metal attitude and would probably say, "I'm-a kick yo' fuckin' ass" and then do it rather quickly if you were to suggest he play metal.
"I went to jail fo' puttin' a foot in yo' ass" has to be one of the greatest lyrics ever. And, yeah, this fella's for real, no shitty parody here.

Hear n' Aid.
I didn't even recognize the guy from Queensryche. Can't tell if Spinal Tap is there being serious or making fun of everyone holding their headsets on.

Ever wonder if Paul Stanley ever considered joining the Village People?
Re: Semi-Dayley dose of METAL
I finally got the bootleg CD:
"People, let me get this off my chest. The Very Best of Paul Stanley's onstage banter"
and it is awesome!!!
It could use some cuts from Alive 3 because there are some classics there...but overall this 70 track collection is fantastic.

Mabs needs to record his "Paul Stanley introducing 'Ladies Room' by talking random shit about 2-1B" bit and post it online.

I will get to that eventually, 'Nark- my production capabilities have been decimated, I have only Captain Frassk as "talent" and no microphone, lighting or tripod or anything, so anything I manage to produce will be pretty low-rent
This is more rock-and-roll but a funny little tune nonetheless
RIP RJD

Iron Maiden's new song "Final Frontier". Looks like they took the name from Star Trek, the beginning of the video from Attack of the Clones, and an Indiana Jones-like chase to end it.

Re: Semi-Dayley dose of METAL
Okay, any of y'all who live near a store called 99-cent Only. (This means Ran. They're only in California, Nevada, and Texas, IIRC.) I found a CD compilation there called "Israel Unleashed: The Very Best Metal and Rock from the Holy Land." It's on a label called JMG (short for Jewish Music Group--and they totally bit off the logo for BMG), which must've gone under, since I've seen a shit-ton of different CD's from that label at almost every single location I've been to.
This claims to be the 15 best unsigned metal and hard rock bands from Israel, and it runs the style gamut from Nine Inch Nails to Pantera to System of a Down, and is, surprisingly, one of the best metal/hard rock compilations I've heard, especially given that I hadn't heard of a single one of these bands before.
Here's one gem on there that reminded me a lot of one of the better hair metal bands or classic Scorpions. This could've been a smash hit in 1989. I'll look periodically and see if I can find more.

$12.99 at Amazon. I'd rather save three bucks and forego the patch.

Re: Semi-Dayley dose of METAL
The title is wrong; it's really just Lemmy and not Motorhead. Still, Lemmy covering KISS might be the most fucking metal thing ever. I'll bet the "video" is just a still image because the computer melted when someone tried to post the actual video, which included a fully nude Tawney Kitaen from 1986 being double-teamed by Ronnie James Dio's armor-clad skeleton and Eddie while riding around Hell on a dragon's back.

Re: Semi-Dayley dose of METAL
I see you're Lemmy cover of Kiss and raise you Lemmy performing with Slash and an interview with Dio and Geezer Butler explaining the \m/.
edit: I couldn't find the Lemmy interview from That Metal Show. He talks about wearing out his right boot faster the left. He has a closet full of left footed boots because he doesn't want to throw them away.

Re: Semi-Dayley dose of METAL
Read about this and, wow, not the metal album I was ever expecting to see. I rather want to hear it, if only because he's awesome in every other respect and has to be the oldest man alive to record a metal album.
