I won the Galaxy Explorer!!! It's missing the baseplate(s) but I have extras of those out the yingyang. And the Instruction booklet. But I can get that off Peeron's website. And if I feel like, I can bid on a booklet down the road. Okay, my excitement might be premature and this topic will turn into rage filled rant if it's not what the guy says it is. But for now, I'm a satisfied camper.

the pieces look to be in moderate to good condition, maybe some sun damage on a few (like he mentioned - the darkening of some blue pieces, yellowing of grays). the translucent pieces look to be in pretty good shape, and it looks like everything's there (aside from what he said isn't).

I can't believe it only went for $41. As far as Grey bricks getting a yellow tinge, I'm actually not that freaked out about it. It's only ever slightly noticeable when you're not closely inspecting things. It's not like the bricks turned BigBird Yellow. I see it as the LEGO Universe equivalent of rust. It makes the ships look like they belong in a "used" universe and the Moonbase or whereever they're stationed hasn't been resupplied in awhile or whatever. Gives the ship more personality.

if it does end up bothering you, or if the damage is egregious, i've heard an oxyclean bath works to remove sun damage from LEGO pieces. never tried it myself. there are quite a few forum topics out there regarding that matter.

Got the POC Cobra Urban Shocktrooper with the clear shield, gas mask,breaching tools, etc etc for 5.99 on sale. Glad I waited. Sadly the righteous Snake Eyes was either gone or hidden in a spot that I couldn't find. Ah well.

I found this cool three-pack with a Rebel Trooper, Leia, and the Deuce. Awesome! I had no idea this was coming out*. No way in hell could I pass on it.

Hehe - sadly I had the one with the Stormtrooper, Death Squad Commander and Vader in my hands for WAY longer than I should have. Props to me for leaving it on the shelves though.

I figured $20 for the Rebel was still much cheaper than the cheapest clearance price I saw the previous set with him for. (You could argue that that set included the cannons and shit, but, really, I have nowhere to put that stuff anymore.) And I figured Anarky Jr would want Leia (though she seems to have her eyes more on the Rebel, which she ain't getting), and I've got plans for The Deuce. (Really, though, even with the syringe hand, the ROTS one would have been preferable. Having all the other figures in all the sets be from the last couple of years, then a clunky POTF2 figure, it just looks odd.)

The fact that they were still able to dig up a few thousand of those Deuces is far more remarkable than the figure itself - I can't imagine they produced more of those just for this set?????

Oh, and I got really lucky on those Hoth sets - Zellers (what Target is going to patch over up here now supposedly in the short term) got them & had some weird SW sale that was either buy one get one or buy one get one half-off. Since I didn't get the Endor AT-ST and regretted that, this "needed" to happen. My credit card spending is often "less than responsible".

almost went for the next one up instead of these two, the Tripod Invader but for $5 less i got two aliens and two troopers - that one only has one alien and a civilian running away in terror (which is also awesome, but still.)

I got MotU Classics Catra and Movie Master Green Man from matty yesterday.

Bought Blowtorch, General Hawk, and Cobra Commander. Also saw Steel Brigade, but left him there.

Got 5 sw figures in the mail - ordered 8. So I'm happy but not happiest if that makes any sense. The guy is going to make it right apparently.

Lando General, Weequay, ROTS Yoda, R5 and Mace Windu are all here - they forgot to send Death Star Escape Luke (hey, at least they're not calling him Tatooine Luke even though that's what he is), a second Blue Royal Guard for me and a howevermanieth Orange Utapau clone which I bought to drop the average price per fig. Those are my favorite Clones from the prequels anyhow so I was going to grab one at some point.

Haven't opened them yet but the OT one are sweet on the cards.
