Speaking of remaking things, Leo DiCaprio is remaking The Island of Dr. Moreau. This will be the sixth, perhaps seventh adaptation. (It depends if you want to include silent French films from a century ago.) But really, what fresh perspective could you possibly bring to yet another attempt? They're fucking animal people. It's been done.

Of course it was awesome. It had Batman, Jor-El, Professor Lupin, Dorothy Gale, Jango Fett, and Hellboy in it. Oh, and Marc Dacascos too. All directed by Michael Bay's dad at the last minute.

It's funny how everyone except Hollywood and the porn industry are so totally over the moronic "glasses = nerd = ugly" bullshit. I haven't even seen that shit in a commercial in years, and those dumb bastards are usually the last to get any memo on pop culture (like "that fucking gecko isn't funny").

Besides, everyone knows chicks with glasses are hot.

In fact, maybe "Chicks with glasses" should be a lumberyard thread.

However, I'd like to say, in case the porn industry trolls our forums like the comics industry, simply putting glasses on a woman does not make her a nerd. Those of us who are turned on by nerd girls can tell the difference pretty easily.
