I'm not sure what is more disturbing: BTG's post, or EP's not entirely denying BTG's post.

Or the lack of any actual schedule with these All-Star books.

I'm secure enough in my hetero to not get upset when people make gay jokes at my expense.

And AS schedule sucks bloated balls....sort of like BTG when he gets a welfare check

Allegedly, we'll be getting THREE issues of AS Batman this year...one in May, one in July, and one in September.

Does anyone even give a shit anymore?

I most certainly do. We all should care.

Did I say care? I didn't say care. I said does anyone GIVE A SHIT?

Let me break down the plot synopsis for the next three issues for anyone who wants to skip them.

Issue #5. Batman shows Robin the staircase leading from the Batcave to Wayne Manor. He calls him a little retard a few times.

Issue #6. Alfred makes a sandwich. Batman cackles. It starts raining.

Issue #7. A Special All Martian Manhunter Issue. J'onn J'onz ponders eating a bagel. A dog pees on a fire hydrant.

Issue 8 will be out sometime in 2009.

I'm done with AS Batman. It blows goats (except for the Jim Lee pics of Vicky Vale trying on the underwear - that was all well and good).

After picking up issue #9 ( in which the entire issue consists of Batman and Robin wearing yellow costumes in a completely yellow room confronting Hal Jordan....I shit you not) it occured to me part of the reason I hate this series so much is because Frank Miller is wasting Jim Lee's talent by writing shit like an all Yellow Batman talking to Green Lantern. Jim Lee is the explosion and car chase artist. If Frank Millr wants to write 22 pages of two dipshits in a room talking, he could draw it himself.

Fuck you Frank Miller. You dick. THIS BOOK STARTED IN 2005!!!! That's FOUR YEARS!! And you're on ISSUE NINE!! WHAT THE FUCK!!

That's funny, All-Star Superass started in 2005 also, but you don't hear any pissing and moaning about that boring-ass comic being late.

Yeah, but I understand that's because it doesn't suck.

Exactly. I can get a copy of AS Superman and reread it and get just as much enjoyment out of it the second time. I could do that with a Jim Lee book, just ignoring the dialogue....EXCEPT when it's a fucking yellow Batman in a fucking yellow room the whole issue. Jesus, typing it out makes it sound even stupider...

That frightened me.

Is All-Star Batman a joke?

I'm not reading the title anymore. But every time I see a preview of an upcoming issue, it is ridiculously bad. Story-wise, that is; the art is quite good from what I've seen. Is Frank Miller just seeing what he can get away with at DC before someone finally steps in?

"That cunt stole my fucking skateboard!"
"Shut the fuck up! These streets belong to the fucking Batgirl!"

I mean, wow, that's some pretty shitty stuff, and that's the tip of the iceberg.
